We had the good fortune of connecting with S. Kiarra Dennis and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi S. Kiarra, what habits do you feel play an important role in your life?
Staying consistent…but most importantly, I stopped comparing everyone else’s success to mine. Now THAT was the best thing I ever did. It allowed me to stay focused on MY journey and following that focus, was the success I was seeing everyone else celebrating.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I opened my business, ElectrolysisPLUS+, one year ago. Today is actually my one year anniversary 🎉 so this is a proud moment for me. I was able to push thru blows that were thrown at me, life’s unexpected demands and let’s not forget about this economy 😫! But all in all, I was able to continue to be consistent, stay professional and be MYSELF! Providing life-changing services brings me so much joy! It gets me in my element knowing that I am apart of something that will forever be someone’s own story. I am apart of THEIR self-love journey and I love that for them…I love that for me. I provide permanent hair removal called Electrolysis and I cater to all. LGBTQ, PCOS, or just the hairy girlies who’s just tired of being hairy. Everyone is welcomed. I also have PCOS which can cause excessive hair growth and I can relate. Phew, I CAN RELATE! I am on my own journey as well and when I tell you, you have to trust the process. I’ve cried because of this hairy inconvenience and even been in a state of depression because of it. Sometimes, I feel that it’s unfair and I just want to crawl in a hole. But, I remember that I am not alone. I am not the only person going thru what I am going thru. I have to show others that PCOS does NOT control my life and I CAN make a change! This is personal so it definitely hits different! And I love it.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
The Avalon in Alpharetta is a nice hotspot. Not too crowded, great food and always a place around to go shopping!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Before I started my journey, there was one book I read that definitely became the foundation of my success. The book is called ‘The Richest Man in Babylon’ by George S. Clason. This book offers understanding and solutions that may guide you through life. Success secrets, prosperity, personal wealth…it’s all in this book. I highly recommend.
