We had the good fortune of connecting with Jada Palmer and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jada, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
When I first graduated high school I went straight to college just because that was the norm in my family. After finishing my first semester with a 4.0 I thought it was going to be smooth the next 3.5 years. COVID hit and I was out of school and really didn’t know what to do. This is where my faith and alignment with my true purpose really tested everything in me. I took the risk and started a business with literally nothing. I knew my purpose was to be an serial entrepreneur, I just didn’t know what to do. It all started with one post on my instagram that I was accepting clients for knotless braids. With faith and work in my purpose my clientele quickly grew. I was booked and busy for 2 years. My body soon got tired of standing for 16-18 hours a day. I thought long and hard like is this the end? I literally just started. The passion I had when I first began was no longer there. I took a few months off and was thinking why was a really doing hair? The reason was I enjoy helping people and the impact I have on them. I took that and dug deeper. Everyone needs somewhere to call home. No matter you age, salary or background. I knew by helping people establish home ownership I would be helping people and I would have an impact on their life forever. I love the risk I took and love the impact it has made.

What should our readers know about your business?
I am a real estate agent for Georgia. I specialize in helping my community establish home ownership by purchasing residential and commercial properties. I also help business owners who are looking to invest in real estate to expand their business. I truly love the feeling where my clients are expressing joy and happiness to me and thanking me for helping them throughout this journey. Buying real estate has never been easy nor has selling real estate, but with me as a real estate agent who is genuinely excited for my clients, I am able to guide them through this journey stress-free.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Ohhh I am born and raised in Atlanta so I know all of the nice spots. We would start the day off by going to LA fitness and getting a good workout in maybe do a little cardio and lift some weights. I’m a believer in if you are healthy you are a better person all around. After the workout get something light from smoothie king I love their gladiator and activator smoothies. I enjoy nature so next we may go to a nice park maybe get on the scooters or bikes just to ride around. After the park we can go to the aquarium or zoo… lol more nature. We will probably be hungry by now so Goochas breakfast bar Nouveau or a hibachi place. After we eat crash at my house sleep and watch Sistas or All the Queens Men on Bet because it is gooodd! We may end the day by going to a lounge or club depends who is there. It’s definitely a vibe the whole week.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My team is truly the best. We all work together to complete a mission. True team work.
