Meet Mz. Coxx | Artist/Entertainer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Mz. Coxx and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Mz. Coxx, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
I love creating and developing new ideas, its fun to me. I’ve always loved music as a child. The other aspects of being in and around the entertainment industry just came with territory as an added bonus of other ways to express myself also , through writing and acting.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Mz. Coxx is an all around entertainer! I write music, I rap, I act here and there, and can even host! I feel like music will always be my first love, but I do enjoy other aspects of being a well rounded entertainer. I don’t feel like anything is easy from the start, it definitely takes some time and effort, and definitely consistency.
I’ve learned that people who are consistent goes a long way in the industry, you have to keep people engaged.
It’s definitely what they say , blood, sweat and tears, and definitely a lot of showing and proving, and allowing you craft to speak for itself.
I’ve learned that every smiling face and applause is not always real and not everyone is happy for you. You have to work in silence and let your success speak for you.
I would like for the world to know that there is so much in store! Prepare to be throughly entertained, I want to be a household name for multiple positive reasons. Its Coxx Time!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would say we definitely to have to go catch some vibes, so we’re definitely going to karaoke night at Vision, it’s definitely a vibe. For a meal during the day maybe Kelz kitchen, or Big Daves. The next day maybe the spa, and the High Museum of Art. On a different day we may go bowling ,or to Ipic. Lastly we could go to Rum Punch Brunch. We definitely like more chill type of vibes , so anything with good food, drinks and great vibes and energy, we will have a blast!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I definitely first and foremost want to give the biggest shoutout to God! Lord knows, I’ve been through some crazy things! Next I would be my family , close friends and support system , for being genuine and real no matter the situation.
