Meet Jessica Hornn | Model/Social Media Influencer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Jessica Hornn and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jessica, any advice for those thinking about whether to keep going or to give up?
I feel like if you are passionate about something, and it’s something you really want to do, you shouldn’t give up. You might not see results right away but keep on pushing my modeling career/social media influencing I’ve gotten, so many No’s got denied etc. but I didn’t give up I kept on pushing you might not even get support but continue to keep going hard and don’t give up..

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
When I was about 6 or 7 years old I knew I wanted to be a model/actress, so I used to take acting classes and do modeling with an agency in my city, they ended up loving me, and they signed me to their agency. They offered me an opportunity to go to LA, but I ended up turning it down. Once I got older I still did modeling, because that was still a big passion of mine I took modeling classes even worked with a modeling agency and I just continued to perfect my craft. I then continued to do modeling, and I also started to create content like vlogs, grwms, try-on hauls, etc. I begin to love to just pick up my camera and record. When I continued to create content brands begin to reach out to me so at the end of the 2021 I said I was going to get a full team to help me with emails, getting more opportunities, etc. February 2022 I ended up making that happen, and I’ve been offered a lot of opportunities since then, I’m truly blessed.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend was visiting, and I wanted to show them the best time ever depending on what they have a taste of for examples if she has a taste for tacos we can go to Ruby’s she has a restaurant, and they have great tacos. If she has a taste for steak etc. we can go to longhorns steakhouse, it just depends. Also, if she wants to go out we can go shopping my area has a great Cumberland mall which has stores like Ross, TJ maxx, studio movie grill, bath and body works etc. it just depends on the type of day.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to give a shout-out to both of my parents, they have been support of me with my dreams along the way. I can always go to them if I need advice, and they always give me the best advice. They always have looked out for me in the best way possible if something isn’t a good look or isn’t right they will tell me they are just the best it’s always good to have support, and I’m super thankful of it.
