We had the good fortune of connecting with Zimco Automotive and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Zimco, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
We decided to start our own business so that we could have more control over our future. We decided to invest in ourselves and in return we could have more control of our time and financial freedom.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
We truly have a passion for helping people. We want people to feel comfortable and happy with their mechanic. Most of our customers have become friends. We are always going to be honest and do quality work. We love showing our customers what is going on with their cars and we will never do work that doesn’t need to be done. We opened our business in Febuary 2020, which of course was the hardest thing anyone in our lifetime has had to deal with. We were blessed enough to never have to close our doors during the pandemic and our customers trusted us to take care of them. We found that being an honest mechanic is so rare to find that it has been easy to grow our business.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
As a family owned business, we could not have done this without the support of our family and friends. From helping to move stuff, working with us anytime we need it, referring customers to us and just understanding when we have to put in more time at the shop. We also are so grateful to our customers, they put their trust in us and support us always, without them we woudn’t be here.
