We had the good fortune of connecting with Bambi and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Bambi, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
I always had this passion of just creating stuff since I can remember I just love to doodle paint draw and create, my art teachers always told me “whatever you’re feeling inside if you don’t know how to express your feelings if you’re feeling, happy, sad excited to use those emotions to create art” and and that’s why I just love being in this industry because it helps me get out my create activity. at the beginning, I didn’t think make up would’ve been a career for me. I always saw it as a hobby but at the years go by I started seeing my favorite celebrities how their makeup looked and I would be researching more into the make up part is is how they create those look or why would they do that or their techniques? I always talk like that was so interesting to me, I think my big inspiration for me to be a make up artist is make up by Mario all the luxe that he’s done with celebrity make ups was so different from the rest his techniques were different and now that he came out with a make up line. He’s inspired me to do the same and hoping wishing they could be me one day.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am a freelance make up artist I do bridal, glam, natural graphic, makeup looks. when you see me in my chair, I ask a lot of questions, to see what are the things that you’re looking for what are the things that you don’t like about make up? What are you trying to cover up? I like to talk to my clients to be more comfortable with me if it’s their first time. The most proud of iamb is where I am at right now I am so grateful where I’m at who’ve. I’ve worked with who I talk to who taught me things that I didn’t know before and I use that on my makeup work. I took a make up course here in Atlanta it’s called studio crush because I wanted to get more hands on to the make up industry. I want to be more then just a make up artist. I want to be more than that. I wanted to be Bambi, the celebrity make up artist, so I found a school where they teach me that, if you want to be more into bridal industry, celebrity make up artist industry, studio crushes the place I loved it I highly recommend it for people that want to take their make up career to the next level they will teach you how to do commercial make up movie make up be how to do bridal glam, etc. One has an already learned along the way is that to never stop posting if it’s not good quality, you don’t have the right make ups the right lighting it doesn’t matter. Just put your work out. There doesn’t matter. How many likes you get at the end of the day you’re showing people what you can do, and that’s the important thing. That’s how you build your business that’s how people see that you’re active that you can create these beautiful looks. I just want people to trust me for doing their make up I just love to meet any woman that feels insecure. I want them to look and feel confident when they’re with me and when I’m done with her make up, I just want them to feel beautiful empowered because makeup can do a lot of things for people see I’m a big helper. I just want to make people feel happy, and that’s why I stand out and my work speaks for itself. Everybody feels so confidence when I’m doing their make up.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
It’s Atlanta come on, I’d like to go Ponce city market it’s a lot of things that are there actually there’s a lot of restaurants there is Italian, Mexican, Chinese, etc. but the thing that I like to go is when it’s winter season I like to go to the rooftop and ice skate and there’s like igloos you and your friends can get and and if you don’t want to ice skate, there is like miniature golf. you can see the whole city of Atlanta turn on the light and I like to play arcade games. Yeah David buster is cool there is an arcade just for adults it’s called your3rd spot, six flags is always fun to go. The garden room is a beautiful place to go eat and have your cocktail and also the select juicy crab is good too, and if you go to spaceman it’s also a good vibe. It’s up in the roof it’s just a good time.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My big start is when I started working at Sephora. It taught me a lot of more things that I didn’t know about the beauty industry. I got to experiment with different products and products so I was a beauty advisor. I would hope clients find the right foundation for them and the right products sometimes they will book me to do their make up and I’m so grateful for people that booked me and clients that didn’t know who I was had trusted me to do their makeup. And a big shout out to my wonderful, lovely family that always supported me throughout my journey and they’re still continuing to support me family to me is a big thing and I’m so grateful that I have such an amazing parents and I love him brother that supports my make up business, even though they didn’t see it how I saw it as a career but now they seen where my education my license where I could take me to, and they could never be more prouder than me and I’m so grateful for them.
