We had the good fortune of connecting with Srimanju Katragadda and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Srimanju, can you share the most important lesson you’ve learned over the course of your career?
As I reflect on my journey as a healer over the past 12 years, I am reminded of the many valuable lessons I have learned. One of the most crucial lessons is the importance of being grounded. Sometimes, in the midst of our busy lives and racing thoughts, it can be easy to lose sight of what truly matters. Grounding oneself can take many forms, whether it’s taking deep breaths, engaging in a grounding meditation, or simply looking around and taking in one’s surroundings. It helps to bring us back to the present moment, where we can focus on our goals and intentions. Another important lesson I have learned is the power of kindness and compassion. Whether you are going through a difficult time or simply trying to navigate the ups and downs of life, being kind and compassionate to yourself and others is essential. It helps us to stay in our own power, and it can foster deeper connections with those around us. Additionally, I have learned the value of empathy, and how it helps to understand and connect with others on a deeper level.
Writing down my thoughts, goals and dreams through journaling has also been a powerful tool that I have discovered in my journey. It helps to process emotions, track progress and celebrate successes along the way. These lessons have helped me to grow and evolve as a person, and they continue to shape my practice as a healer, making it easier for me to connect with my clients and create meaningful relationships.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Starting my business and being true to my intuition has been a source of great pride for me. Instead of pushing away my calling, I listened to it right away. While we all have the ability to discern what is right, it is not always easy to trust ourselves. By staying honest and empathetic, I am able to stay connected to my soul and ultimately achieve success.
I am proud of the fact that I have been able to build and grow my business while juggling a full-time job and raising children. The key to my success has been my inner determination and drive. Though there have been challenges along the way, I have always reminded myself that they are temporary and that I have the ability to overcome them. If you have a calling, I urge you to follow it with passion and never give up, even when faced with obstacles.
I believe that all people have gifts and spiritual powers that they just need to learn how to tap into them. Through my Akashic Records and Reiki sessions, guides help me reveal the unique and specific missing links to your soul connections to live a purpose-driven life. Help interpret the Soul’s journey and why we are here on the Earth.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If a friend were to visit Seattle, I would make sure to take them on an adventure that showcases the best of the city. We would start by exploring Pike Place Market, taking a tour and indulging in some of the famous treats at Beecher’s and Starbucks. Afterwards, we would head to Alki beach for a relaxing time soaking up the sun, cycling along the beach path and enjoying the beautiful views of Seattle city. For dinner, we would dine at Bai Thong Thai in Redmond, known for its delicious food, cozy ambiance, and excellent customer service. We always leave with our stomachs and hearts full. Of course, no visit to Seattle would be complete without experiencing the natural beauty of the area. So we would make a trip to Snoqualmie falls and take a scenic drive through the Cascades. Depending on the weather, we would also head to Mount Rainier National Park, to see the stunning reflection lake. It’s a trip that will leave my friend with memories that will last a lifetime.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My journey began with my children Ishitha and Taanvi, who unknowingly guided me towards discovering my true self and purpose. Their arrival in my life led me to explore my own path and understand who I am. A turning point in my growth was the discovery of Louise Hay’s books, which greatly impacted my thoughts, affirmations, manifestation and self-love. Then, I was introduced to the practice of Reiki by my friend Bala, which further deepened my spiritual awakening. I am forever grateful for the support and love of my husband, Bharath, who has been my rock throughout this journey. And, of course, I would not be where I am today without the invaluable guidance and support of my soul tribe, clients, students, and friends, who have helped me connect on a deeper level and see life from a different perspective.
