Meet Jaylan hoover | Artist(BighoooV)

We had the good fortune of connecting with Jaylan hoover and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jaylan, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
As an artist, it took me a moment to start thinking about how I wanted to turn my music into a career. Growing up in a small town we didn’t have much so my brothers and I made the best moments of what we had. One of the things we did to entertain ourselves was freestyling. When it was my turn to go no hesitation I took off running threw every word my mind could think of, my friends were amazed at how good I was doing. Just hearing them telling me along with a variety of people that I should take my career seriously really gave me that push and mindset to take music seriously.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
What makes me different as an artist to me is being very versatile. Versatility is one of the most important things when it comes to being an artist. My ability to jump in and out of any genre of music comfortably is a very strong skill. My unreleased project MOTM2 (man on the moon 2) is the spinoff of my first man of the moon project which I am very excited about, shows off the versatility threw the whole tracklist. Looking back from where I started to where I am now from a professional standpoint I have come a long way. The path was not easy it took a lot of sleepless nights grinding in the studio and writing songs, Also it takes a lot of time away from those you love. Threw all of the times that were rough I did have I just stayed strong always told myself positive things and kept my head high knowing that the outcome at the end is going to be very beautiful. I learned many things from this journey I chose to embark on, one of those is being that everyone has a place in your story and that the is a stopping point to some that you thought would be with you forever. Also to be active and busy and to remember the time that you spend sitting down doing nothing is time that you could use to grow in your craft, and never hide your emotions being an artist to me is being emotional. To capture a moment with your words and share it with others is a beautiful experience. One thing you should know about me when listening to my music is that I hide no emotion and that whatever problems you are facing and experiencing I either have or am experiencing those moments as well you are not alone.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Being an animal lover and from the country, I would recommend my friends go to the Georgia Aquarium and the Atlanta zoo which are two of the places me and my family love to visit in the city. also the mall of Georgia tavern which is right near the mall of Georgia is a great place to eat and hang out and a common spot that I and my friends usually go to every Friday and Saturday.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
First I would like to give all thanks to god, I feel as if he get the first rose. Also, I would like to think my family for being such a great support system and backbone for me. I would also like to give thanks to my team NHA which consists of my manager Karter and my security Will these guys stick beside me no matter the situations we stay strong as a team and face any obstacles that stand in our way to success together.
