We had the good fortune of connecting with Alanna Griffin and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Alanna, have you ever found yourself in a spot where you had to decide whether to give up or keep going? How did you make the choice?
That’s easy, if I restore the dignity of one person that’s more than enough fuel for me to keep going.

What should our readers know about your business?
My business is Style Rollz Studios LLC. At Style Rollz Studios we develop products for individuals with Alopecia and other hair loss issues. I am most proud of the fact that we are able to restore dignity, self esteem and bring confidence back to millions of people all over the world. It was definitely not easy due to the fact that I am a single mother working several jobs with 2 kids in college. One of the most important lessons that I learned was that you can’t do it alone and you definitely have to have people around you that you can trust!! That’s something I had to learn the hard way. I want the world to know that no matter bad things look, there’s always a solution.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would definitely take them to visit botanical gardens to see the beautiful flowers and gardens! I would also stop by the varsity to get a ABSOLUTELY BOMB hotdog! We would end the evening hanging out at Ponce City Market!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Without a doubt, the love and support of my family and close friends! They encouraged me to keep going even when I wanted to throw in the towel several times!
