Meet Idris Adebowale | Musician songwriter | HSrecords founder

We had the good fortune of connecting with Idris Adebowale and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Idris, what’s something about your industry that outsiders are probably unaware of?
The music industry is very complex, its a long time journey that might leave you broke/ lonely if one didn’t plan well before coming in, but with consistency and hard work nothing is impossible.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My art is the reflection of my life the originality is what set me apart from other creative, when you listen to my music no matter where you are from, you will be able to relate because it’s real.
getting here in my career was not easy, but the hard work really do worth it, for me I won’t say its hard because nothing good comes easy, one of the challenges I faced was working with lazy people, when I say lazy I mean people who just want to be seen but don’t want to put in the work, what kept me going is putting my work above everything and mastering the art so well that I can do this even when you wake me up at the middle of the night.
when you hear the name “Himself” that brand represents originality and persistence.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Well for me I like my quite spot, I love hanging out at the beach side I will recommend Zanzibar a very nice place and beautiful view, taking a friend to Zanzibar oh am sure they will have all the fun of their live.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Well I didn’t get here by myself, I will like to give thanks to God and my team.
