We had the good fortune of connecting with Peyton Isaac and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Peyton, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
When starting BeautyUnleashed the main thing I thought about was CONVENIENCE. I’m the type of person that likes to switch my hair often. With a busy schedule I realized I would not have the time or energy to constantly do sew ins, so I began making wigs. Then I realized how many busy people may have the same dilemma. I see so many businesses selling wigs that you still have customize. The purpose of a wig is the convenience of not doing your own hair, so why should you still have to spend hours customizing the wig as well. BeautyUnleashed is about making sure when you get a unit you are only needing to cut the lace and put it on. No additional bleaching or plucking necessary!

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
What sets BeautyUnleashed apart from other wig companies is the convenience. When shopping with most businesses the picture that is shown online is not what you get in the mail. You have to bleach, pluck, and possibly color the wigs to achieve the style presented. When you purchase a wig from BeautyUnleashed, the same wig in the picture, is exactly what you receive in the mail, down to the part and curls. Being an entrepreneur is never easy, and there are many challenges. However, when you love what you do, and you have a vision, you will do what it takes to see it through. One of the main things that are difficult in the beauty industry is competition. In the central Georgia area, there are hundreds of businesses that are in the same field. But that good southern customer service and hard work, can never be replaced. My brand of what you see is what you get is what sets me apart from other companies. Celebrity Glam Without Salon Time!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
One of my favorites would definitely be Vibez. It is located in downtown Macon. You can enjoy music, food, drinks and hookah. Try out their Lamb Chops! I also enjoy a new gem of the city called Marie’s. I recommend their Philly egg rolls and Skittlez Hookah
