We had the good fortune of connecting with Jada Samone’ and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jada, what role has risk played in your life or career?
Some risks may not pay off, but an optimistic risk-taker will always look at failure as an opportunity to learn. You should never be left wondering what could have happened if you had dared to jump in! Taking risks has gotten me many places in the start of my career in the industry. If I wouldn’t have never taken action towards my dreams those goals I had wouldn’t have never been achieved. Being a risk-taker has opened up many big doors for me, doors I used to dream about walking through. It has made me aware of what is truly important to me, what I want and don’t want.

My art is modeling and acting, I’ve been doing both for a year now. What sets me apart from others would be my creativity, memorization skills, boldness and bravery. I’m most proud of getting the opportunity to work on Tyler Perry’s Lot at his studios. I’m excited about all the doors that will be opening for me soon. Was it easy getting to where I am today professionally? Absolutely not. I have cried many days and nights, I’ve wanted to give up, throw it all away not knowing what was up the road ahead of me. I’ve had many challenges arise but I always think and dream big. You will achieve more than you could ever imagine. I try not to let negative thoughts get in my way. I’ve learned to be fearless and never give up. Giving up means that you will neither overcome the challenge nor learn from it. I’ve also learned to work smarter and not harder, I outline, define my goals and then plan the process of how to get there. I want the world to know that I’m a rising star that will soon be a movie star, you’ll see me all over your tv screens and on billboards across the states. I have so much in store and I can’t wait to show the world my purpose!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Atlanta is still frankly new to me, but there are a few good spots I really enjoyed that I would recommend. Good food is important so we would definitely go to Alons the pasta and burgers are so good. Slutty Vegan burger is another great spot they serve plant based burgers loaded with everything served on a vegan Hawaiian bun. Sky Lounge is another good food spot, it’s a rooftop bar with handcrafted infusion cocktails and panoramic views. I love the scenery and food. I’m adventurous, I love trying new things. A few spontaneous spots I would take them would be; CNN Studios, just like with acting and modeling seeing what goes on behind the scenes and how everything is created is the best part. Atlanta Day Spa would be another spot, what better way to spend one of your days just relaxing and getting a nice massage. IFly is another spot everybody is always dying to try! A lot of people want to skydive but not the real skydiving so iFly offers indoor skydiving.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Firstly, I have to thank God! Secondly, I want to give special recognition to my main girl that I’m currently walking this journey with SiSi Hinley. Finding genuine people that want to see you win is rare, but SiSi is the most sweetest, supportive person you’ll ever meet. I’m grateful to have such an amazing person like her in my winning circle. Another special shout-out goes out to my cousin Natasha Edwards a “Fashion Mogul” she represents my modeling career. You can find her on Instagram @ntprfirm all business inquiries are located in her link-tree. Special shout-out to my cousin Dominique Green that’s more like my big brother/father figure, this is one person that will literally travel all 50 states to support my career. He’s a big influence on my life. I would also like to thank my close family back home for believing in my vision and me. Big shout-out to all the casting agencies and casting directors that I’ve worked with thus far, thank you for giving me the opportunity to be on set working alongside some of the most outstanding people and allowing me to shine bright!
