Meet Igor Lekue | Youtuber Video Maker

We had the good fortune of connecting with Igor Lekue and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Igor, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
It all started during the pandemic, in my country we were confined and I was also convalescing from a hip operation, which left me with a lot of free time. I started watching relaxing videos on YouTube about people walking through cities or nature and car rides, train rides… and I liked the format. I saw that most of these videos were recorded in well-known areas and large world capitals and I thought to myself… why not do something like this in my own way and at a more local level? And that’s when I started to find out about the necessary equipment, the edition and the functioning of the platform for the publication of the videos. I had time to train myself well in this regard as I had a lot of free time to take it easy.

What should our readers know about your business?
I wanted to reach a type of public that was interested in various factors, such as having the same point of view as the driver when passing through different locations, getting to know different cities or natural areas that you have access to with a car, show the ways of driving in different countries, their architecture, flora, urban design… all with high image quality such as 4K.
From the beginning I knew that making my way in this sector was not going to be easy, there are great professionals and powerful companies behind the content producers but this at the same time was a great challenge for me, to make my way, a humble creator of amateur videos, it gave me the push I needed to carry it out and put all the effort and illusion that I had inside on my part.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
There are many places I would take a good friend to, but personally I think that Switzerland is the country that has it all, I would even extend it to alpine areas in Austria, Italy, France or Germany. I would highlight its high standard of living, its endless leisure possibilities, always in natural surroundings, as well as the possibility of doing high mountain activities or winter sports. If you are looking for summer tourism, you can find it in its beautiful lakes and large protected areas… and what about its big cities, where both the care of its historic areas and its most avant-garde parts converge in perfect harmony without losing its own essence. . Of course, I must admit that it is not a suitable destination for all pockets, some prices are prohibitive!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
To whom I owe the greatest recognition due to her patience, collaboration, contribution of ideas and above all her encouragement in the most difficult moments, is my wife Amagoia, without her none of this would have been possible and to the rest of my friends who have always supported me from the first moment
