We had the good fortune of connecting with Alicia Williams and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Alicia, what do you attribute your success to?

The most important factor behind my success and the success of my brand has been my daily mantra: “No one is you , and that is your SUPERPOWER!”

I strongly believe success starts with you believing in YOU. Speaking this over myself and my business daily has been the driving force behind it all.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?

I am a Former Educator turned Multi -Six Figure Earner Entrepreneur, Motivational Speaker, Influencer and now a published Author. After starting a non- traditional opportunity in the network marketing industry over 7 plus years ago, I was afforded the opportunity to leave my 15 year career in education after only 2 years in. You can say this was eye-opening for me and what changed the game for me as an entrepreneur! As the quote states, “She believed she could, so she did.” I boldly and confidently walked into this new journey trusting God all the way. I always knew that God had a bigger purpose for me outside of the traditional classroom. His purpose for me was to impact lives on a global scale. With this opportunity, I was able to build and grow a team of well over 104,000 consultants across the U.S. and the Virgin Islands.

Now as full-time successful entrepreneur, I am now blessed to truly operate in my gift of empowering others to see greatness within themselves. Today, with now over ten years of experience in the networking marketing industry, I get to teach, coach and mentor others on their journey to becoming the best version of themselves through non- traditional methods. I’m very proud and excited to share my success strategies on how to win on purpose in my most recent book, The World’s Best Network Marketing Strategies that I have co-authored with other top industry leaders. I often say jokingly, I am STILL teaching… my classroom just looks a little different now.

Although my journey has been quite remarkable with trailblazing achievements, I have also faced challenges and setbacks along the way. I encountered negative talk from others, lack of support, loss of business partners and many who unfollowed because they didn’t see my vision. That was ok. It was my vision from God , not theirs. Through it all my passion and vision has never wavered. However, as I often say it is ok to fail, but remember to always fail forward. Failure is success in progress.

I want the world to know that greatness lies within us all, but we must rise up and above the nay-sayers and dream-busters and walk in it! Be reminded, No one is you and that is your SUPERPOWER!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Ha! I am a native of Mobile, AL. A true southern girl at its best so naturally I am dining in the best seafood and southern cuisine restaurants.

Brunchin in the city is what I most love! Hitting up all the hidden gems, eateries with a great ambience that are sure to have my tummy satisfied upon leaving. Taking an afternoon stroll through the shoppes of Buckhead and afterwards AGAIN patio dining to catch the city view with a lemon drop martini in hand (my fave cocktail)!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?

I would first like to give all the glory and praise to my Heavenly Father, for none of this would be possible without him. He will and will always continue to be head/CEO of my life and business.

So many people have been on this amazing journey with me and I wish I could name them all! However, I would be reminsed if I did not thank my loving family. My husband Bryan Williams and our three children (Katelyn, Bryan Jr. & Jordan) have been my WHY from the beginning. Their selfless love, daily encouragement and unwavering support has carried me through over the years. My five siblings, who continue to inspire me through their own respective entrepreneurial journey and ambitious spirits of always doing things “The Wright Way” Last but certainly not least, my parents, Mr. & Mrs. Rickey L. Wright, Sr. I am who I am today because of what they instilled in me as a young child. My mother would often say, ” I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13. Thank you for teaching me that excellence was the standard and mediocrity was not an option. Greatness is who I am. Behind every successful woman is a supportive tribe who is cheering her on.
