We had the good fortune of connecting with Hannah Aryee and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Hannah, what is the most important factor behind your success?
Our most important factor behind our success of Love In Motion, is our style of how we capture our bride and groom’s love story. We pride ourselves with our documentary style cinematography films and fine art photography.
Our goal is to highlight black love, and create generational artifacts that are priceless and captures the essence of love and family.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
We are a “luxury cinematography and photography studio”. We specialize in Weddings, however when we first came together as a collective we were in the commercial industry. We soon pivot over to doing weddings. We faced many challenges in the beginning, such as finding a way to stand out and create our own style from other peers who were in the same industry as us. Another obstacle we had to face is how to scale our business so we can capture more weddings and hand the influx of inquires we were receiving.
We overcame our obstacles by working together! We expanded our team with our peers and we invested in our education and techniques to be able to provide a luxury experience to our bride and grooms.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
As a photographer and cinematographer we are always ask the question: “Do you know any good locations?” Here are our suggestions for locations that are picturesque and you will have a great experience: The Garden Room, which is located inside the St. Regis Hotel- great to drink cocktails and take photos
The Belt line that is directly behind Ponce City Market- great to take the family to shop or ride
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I co-founded Love In Motion alongside my long time friends. Alex Oshi and Joel Harris. Together we built Love In motion on the bases of three, eager black kids from Covington, GA. Fast forward 8 years later we are a luxury cinematographer and photography studio in Atlanta, GA.
