Hi Saucelife, what role has risk played in your life or career?
Taking risks is very important, most people are afraid of risk or shy away but no me. Sometimes the risk you missed out on taking might’ve been your personal blessing. Every person that’s successful in today’s time took a risk at some point in there life to get where they are now. Risks has taken a huge part in my life , simply because if i never took the chance or risk to do certain things , i wouldn’t have gotten in certain financial situations or been able to do alot of traveling and anything else that I do.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Well first and foremost, I am Saucelifejay (S.L. Jay) , I’m a hip hop artist. I think what sets me apart from the others, would definitely be my sound solely. I got to the point I’m at musically by putting more effort towards finding better studios to record at quality wise , making more songs, and stay as consistent as I can be. Promoting my music way more than before , networking and connecting with different promoters and dj’s to push my music out more and all of it has helped me to succeed even more. It wasn’t easy , I’ve dealt with being homeless before , barely making ends meet , running out of money , on top of dealing with personal issues , so no I would never say the road was easy, but i always kept my head on a swivel and got myself in a better position. One big lesson I’ve learned is that everyone doesn’t always want the same vision that you imagined so just stick to your ideals first and go for it! I would like the world to know I am the new wave of music I’m “The Wave” “The Change” Someone new in the industry a new light on the music we hear today.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Well, right now i currently live in El Paso , Texas . If my friend came we would go to the outlets do a little shopping , hit the three malls we have here and shop some more. We would eat at Ruth Chris , Salt Grass steakhouse, laundry’s seafood , chicos tacos, cattle Barron, hyashi sushi & Japanese steakhouse just to name a few places. Enjoy some drinks and wings while playing top golf. Go to Cincinnati street strip of bars and maybe some other clubs and bars around the city. Enjoy time with the beautiful Hispanic women of El Paso , Texas.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I personally want to shoutout my fans , without out them my music would be nothing . I’ve gotten major recognition from other artists in the industry as well as random fans from all of the world . This has caused my music streams to elevate tremendously over the last two years.
