We had the good fortune of connecting with Brianna Colbert and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brianna, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factor behind my success would be professionalism, and consistency. Without those main two ingredients, success would not be possible.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
The Chef Bri Experience, LLC is different from a lot of other companies and Chefs. The reason why we say that is because we always go the extra mile without clients having to ask. We accept every guest with open arms because not only are we a black owned company, but we are also a LGBTQ, and veteran affiliated company. There were always challenges that we had to face in this industry because of who we are. We overcame those challenges by moving forward and cutting ties with certain things. What we would love for the world to know is that when you book with us, you are family and you will be treated as such no matter what.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
In my opinion, I feel like being home and making your own experiences with the people you love is what counts. We always encourage friends and family to hang out, and enjoy one another. I’m not much of an outside person, as you can see!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
The person who I feel deserves just as much credit would have to be my partner who would like to be nameless. Without her, my success would not have happened. My partner has been there through thick and thin, ups and downs, long mornings, long nights, plus some!
