We had the good fortune of connecting with Shanita Ashworth and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Shanita, can you tell us more about your background and the role it’s played in shaping who you are today?
Born to Rosalie and Glenn Ashworth in derrider Louisiana, I was raised around my grand parents who was the owner operators of a local Convenient And Goods Store. My culinary skills are deeply rooted and inspired by my grandmother Annie- Ray Ashworth who was one of the best cooks in the world! Teaching and developing the youth came natural to me. Im intrigued by kids and there willingness to learn ,absorb and obtain knowledge. Outside of cooking I enjoy teaching my class how to be independent, money management and we also do things in our community, like feed the hunger etc. I’m big on teaching on integrity and developing character.
I’ve always had a heart to help those in need and a love for people which inspired me to become a life coach I also give credit to my grandmother for instilling that in me at a very young age, which made me who I am today.
