Meet Saga Boss | Music Artist, Event Host, Content Creator

We had the good fortune of connecting with Saga Boss and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Saga, we’d love to start by asking you about lessons learned. Is there a lesson you can share with us?
As cliche as it sounds, I feel one of the most important lessons would be you can do whatever you put your mind to. If you’re passionate about something, nothing can stop you except you.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
As a creative my mind is always turning. I believe what sets me apart is the ability to be versatile. Some call it the “Jack of all trades”, but I call it a blessing. I adapt and learn a lot of different talents which is what keeps me competitive. I wake up with the mindset of how can I be better than I was yesterday. Everyday I compete with myself, no matter if it’s from a song I wrote, a video I created, a logo I designed…anything. It helps keep me motivated.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
That’s tough because I’m a good lover so I love to try different foods and different places. I also love just being a homebody. So I don’t mind sparking up the grill, putting on some good music and making it a night at the house. With that being said, I like doing fun stuff when we get the chance though, like bowling, top golf, fishing, the gun range. I love what I do though, so most of the time getting booked to host events is my fun. I love to entertain.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would definitely love to shout out my grandmother…Mattie Alston. Through all the ups and downs, the good and bad times, succes and failure, she has constantly prayed for me, encouraged me, and rooted for me. Since I was young she always told me I can do and be whatever I wanted to, I just had to work for it. Definitely one of my biggest inspirations and supporters.
