We had the good fortune of connecting with Carrie Cosby and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Carrie, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind my success is simply “Unity” because my main goal is to build a safe space for creatives to come together in peace along with harmony. And why not do that in a fashionable way?!

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
To me every one and everything is Art, how the trees blow to how someone walks is art. I believe what sets me apart is my ability to properly strategically set the stage for an amazing look, television appearance, photoshoot, fashionshow, etc I will curate that from beginning to end. I am so excited to be putting together my own creative show which is just a little bit different from the normal fashion shows you would see, it’s called “Fountain Square Creative Arts Fashion Festival ” and I have the most beautiful creative people helping me build this dream of mine into reality! I could not have done this without them. I’ve learned so much by just watching other people love what they do, it showed me how to love what I do and truly put my heart and soul into it and by doing that I was able to be on this beautiful journey of bringing together a community of talented creative people.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
In the city of Indianapolis you must visit the most beautiful area in town which is ” Fountain Square ” You would enjoy any restaurant down there and there are several to choose from but my favorites would have to be Yaso’s Jamaican restaurant, and La’Margarita located in the historical Murphys Art Center which is also where my gallery “The Healing Palace also is, that’s where I do makeup, facials and have natural products available as well as a mineral bar. Then as you leave out of the Murphys Art Center you can’t leave Fountain Square without grabbing some of the best coffee in the world at ” Bovaconti” or the best ice cream in the world from ” Square Scoops” and then head to our beautiful rooftop garden for the most amazing veiw in the city. There is alot to do in Indy especially if you love sports! We have our Indianapolis Colts, we have our INDY 500 at the world famous Indianapolis Motor Speedway, and one my favorite things to do is watch our own Indiana Fever so if your a basketball fan you’ll enjoy our NBA/WNBA games.. we have an amazing children’s museum and a lovely zoo for our youth.

Shoutout to anyone who’s ever supported my vision you truly know who you are, shoutout to anyone who’s ever built me up & properly taught me something to better myself just purely out of love. Shoutout to anyone who’s ever laughed with me and not at me.
