Meet Stephane Dormeus | Event Planner and Creative Space owner

We had the good fortune of connecting with Stephane Dormeus and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Stephane, we’d love for you to start things off by telling us something about your industry that we and others not in the industry might be unaware of?
One thing about the event and wedding industry that outsiders are probably unaware of would have to be the real cost and time that goes into each and every event . One thing I’ve learned over the years is to grace our clients because they really are not aware of the true cost and time of their pinterest boards.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Our company is named With Love, Event Services and we are an event services company where we really do serve our clients with Love. We are a husband and wife team. I’m the lead planner Stephane and my husband Adbest is the lead in everything execution. We curate, coordinate, design and execute private events such as weddings
We are also owners of an event space servicing corporate and purposeful events

What I think sets us apart from others will have to be how we plan events. Its always a fun, well organized, and stress free experience for all parties involved from begining to the end.

I’m most proud of how we have pushed through all the obstacles that we have had over the years in our businesses It was and is still filled with hurdles as all businesses have but we growing through them all

I’m super excited about our next project that we are working on for With Love, Event Services because it really is pushing our faith and our company to the next level.

One of the lessons we have learned along the way in business would have to be that being a prudent risk taker Is actually a good thing.
If you are not consistently taking calculated risks in business you will definetly not get where you want to go.
Also praying and making those moves goes hand in hand.

What I would want the world to know that our brand is about serving others with kindness and the love of Christ all while having fun.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If a friend was visiting me for a week lond trip they would definitely be in for a treat because I would be planning something. The first stop would be our home for a home cooked haitian meal which would include my famous Macaroni au gratin or my husband’s home made Chinese fried rice. Second we must go hunting for an outside food experience so we will have to go visit an amazing restaurant in our city like Brazilian steakhouse Terra Gaucha
Or a hip spot like 7th and Grove.
We would definitely go hangout at Armature Works for live music or walk the Riverwalk downtown.
To wrap their trip we would definitely drive down to a special remote beach for a family picnic and enjoy a beautiful sunset with ice cream.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would absolutely love to honor & to boast about my best friend who also happens to be my creator and my Lord. God the father, Jesus and holy spirit. Without these three I’m not really sure where what life I would be living right now. The source of my patience, kindness and creativity all comes from above.

Another dedication goes out to the one whom my soul loves, my high-school sweetheart and husband of 17 years. This man’s name is Adbest and he really is the best man for me and I just love him so much for always supporting my crazy business ideas and being my right hand in life. He is truly my #1 support system.

I must also mention my friends and family who has cheered me on over the years.
