We had the good fortune of connecting with Shari-Lynn Venus and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Shari-Lynn, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
It all started with a friend who wanted a Logo and knew that im quite handy with graphic designs. After she launched her Brand people started to ask who did her logo so step by step I got more and more inquiries about graphic designs. I never knew that my skills would be that good to start my own business, as I thought there is so many agencies and designers out there, the world does not need another one. But well after a while I figured out my own businessmodell I would like to offer my clients. A lot of my clients are start ups or people that are at the first stages to open their own business. So I wanted to help them start from the very beginning in a professional way. That’s why I offer Logo, CI’s, Branding Material, Image Videos, Productfotographie and many more just so my clients can start professionally and market worthy. And from there I keep supporting them in offering them social media management and content creation. So most of my clients become to longtime partners. Which is amazing because I love to see the process. It makes me super proud to see how they grow, open stores and just do what they love. It just makes me happy seeing that the Work I do helps them become bigger and better.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
What makes my business special is that I’am a full service agency that can support clients along their journey in different kind of ways. Some clients start small and then come back after they got more budget because they love to get everything done from one hand so the vision behind their business never gets lost. For me is the vision behind the brand the most important thing. It gives me inspiration and gives me creative input to match the ideas my clients has. The biggest challenge for me is that im working still a 9 to 5 Job as a Social Media Manager for by companies and brand with 6 figure Budgets. Im creating the strategies and help along the creation and production. On one hand it keeps me always very close to the market but on the other hand the time is a super important factor. When I close my Laptop at 5 or 6 o’clock I open my other one right after. So im hustling and working until late at night to get everything done. Of course I love what I do but I really hope that im able to manage that I can live soon from my own business. Because I think if I invest more time into my own business it would grow much faster. But until then I got to hang in there and keep it working. I want the world to know that whatever you do in live which seems not easy is not just a challenge it is your perception. The hardest things in life prepares you for your blessings that are about to wait for you. So hang in there trust the process and keep it going.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If a good friend comes to see me I would take her to the most beautiful bars the city has to offer. I would take her to lakes and beaches that are nearby and let her try typical German specialities. I would take her to amazing art museums and show her the most creative spots I know. Always with me my closest friends who love life and travel. I would take her out for a swim with my dog that loves the nearby lakes and we play frisbee until the sun goes down. I would cook her favorite carribean dishes she missed and let her enjoy every bite. I would show her where I work, live and show her my fav spots where I enjoy just the fresh air and the silence.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Well at this point I would like to thank all my clients who believes in my work and comes back to me every time to create more great work together. Without them and they’re recommendations I would not be able to discover my hidden talent and make it to my own business. I would never thought that this could be something im doing for my own business. Until now I have not advertised my business everything that comes in is just from recommendations which shows me that my clients are really satisfied with my service. This makes me super happy and proud.
