We had the good fortune of connecting with Tiera Campbell and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tiera, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factor behind my success would definitely be having the confidence to express myself while influencing others to do the same. I love the idea of being able to take advantage of social media to engage and connect with others who enjoy beauty and makeup just as I do! I want to be authentic and be able to work with beauty brands that will allow me to be myself. Another important factor would be staying consistent! Consistency comes along way with being a content creator and I cannot way to see what unfolds for me in the future because of it!

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
What sets me apart from others would be putting in the work and effort to perfect my content. This means truly putting in the time to do my research, investing in the right equipment, and most importantly making sure I am being myself and not someone else. Social media has its pros and cons, but I always put out positive energy when posting and engaging with my followers. I am excited to explore how creative I can be with my makeup and what type of community I am going to create with my videos! I am even more excited to educate my followers on what all you can do with makeup. Beauty to me means embracing your imperfections! I am a glam girl so I love to create the shimmer, glossy, glittery looks but I also love my simple beauty looks with a hint of lip gloss!

I am now a strong believer in manifesting and putting out positive energy to gain it back. The biggest challenges I’ve experience so far would be my post or videos not receiving any engagement and being stuck on what to do next. I know I can’t give up because of one post or video that doesn’t do numbers. I have to take that and look back on what I did wrong or what can I change. I recently had a Instagram reel video that got over 12k views and I was so excited! It made me realize “ohhh this is the type of content my audience likes!” We all have to face our challenges and research ways to improve.

My brand Tiera Brie will reach an audience that is in love with beauty and makeup just as I am! It will open opportunities for me to express myself and the love for makeup while being creative. My first goal would be to work with a beauty brand/brands or even gain a sponsorship with a product that I love and always use. My long term goal would be to create my own eyeshadow palette or lipsticks. I just want to stay consistent and network as much as possible to reach every opportunity that comes my way!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
My best friend name is Tanzy and she is all about the fashion and beauty! I am not from Atlanta, but we both have been to Atlanta. I absolutely love visiting Atlanta. The most I would want her to explore would be downtown Atlanta and exploring the shopping malls. We would first find a black owned restaurant to have brunch at. Based off my research we would try out a place called “Southern Queen” that I found on Tiktok! The food looks absolutely amazing so I know she would enjoy that. After we would find cute nail lounge to get our nails and toes does or maybe even a spa! I don’t know much about Atlanta spots but I know you can always find a bar or club to go to! Also this is a hot city to meet or see many celebrities and engage in some parties, so that would definitely be the move for night time.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to shoutout my family and friends who have always supported me and motivate me about the potential I have to do makeup. My boyfriend, Jamaal and best friend, Tanzy, has definitely played a big part in me becoming a influencer and motivating me to keep going. We all get discourage every once and while when it comes to our craft and it feels good to have someone you can go to for support, ideas or even just to vent! I have also gained so much support from my followers on social media with the likes, comments, shares and DMs! It is all appreciate and just what I need to keep going!
