Hi Shanille, do you have a favorite quote or affirmation?
My favorite quote is “well behaved women seldom make history quote” – Laurel Thatcher Ulrich. To me it brings a different standard to the way women make a name for themselves in whatever career path they find themselves following. Me being a creative, this quote helped me to understand that I won’t get to where I want to be by sitting still and being quiet. I have to shake the room.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
There will be a lot of no’s before you receive your yes. Always follow your gut feeling about what you are doing, the moment something doesn’t feel right; listen to yourself. There is no rush, you can not skip the work. Everyone goes through a journey to get to where they want in life; be patient with yourself and kind to your mind.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’m a big foodie and I’m heavy on trying restaurants that you won’t find anywhere else. One of the best places to try in Atlanta is a good spot called “Tom, Dick & Hanks” so delicious. It’s always a hit.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My family and friends; they are very supportive in what I do and encourage me to do it.
