We had the good fortune of connecting with Franchesca Cintron and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Franchesca, what do you attribute your success to?
I believe the most important factor behind the success of my brand and music is transparency & boldness. As a Christian creative it’s what has set me apart. Being able to share my past & present struggles. While consequently encouraging others so that they may see hope and a future as well even if they don’t see it in the moment.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
What sets Franchesca apart is, relatability. Allowing my listeners to feel seen. To know they are not alone. And, when they are listening for them to have those moments when “she gets me, I’m glad I’m not the only one.”

I’m excited about the new music to come. With my latest release of my 2nd album “Beauty For Ashes”, we’ve only scratched the surface of what’s in store musically. We will be pumping a lot more music out with some special collaborations, so you guys get ready!

I got where I am today by putting one foot in front of the other. I can definitely say, it has not been easy. But, I know I’ve been called to this so giving up wasn’t an option. I know my music is meant to touch, heal, save and bring comfort to so many. “Just put one foot in front of the other daughter.” thats what God instructed me to do when I was reluctant to start my music journey. I didn’t know how to start or how to acquire resources and business relationships. So, for me just continuing to take it step by step has tremendously allowed me to overcome challenges and not get overwhelmed with the big picture.

Lessons I’ve learned along the way have been to, invest in yourself. To not be afraid to bet on the purpose God has set before me. Another lesson, has been to do what others won’t. As I mentioned before I love sharing the dark moments of the Christian life, the small moments that may seem insignificant. Some would look past these because they are afraid of the picture it may paint. But, as for me, as I continue to stay true to the calling of giving God the glory from my ups and downs it’s been what people love about my sound, music and message the most. Last lesson would be to, not put what I am truly worth in the numbers. As an artist, it can be so discouraging to see small numbers but feeling like the song was so much better. And, I’m just being real. But, the key is to understand growth. Growth takes time, energy and effort. As a seed is planted you don’t see much at first but as it continues to do what it was made to do, you soon see results. You see it blossom into a beautiful tree or plant. But, my lesson learned is, your numbers don’t always yield what something truly is valued at. Especially when you first begin. So, just keep going! You will reap a harvest in due time.

I want the world to know that Jesus saves. All my music points back to Him. More than anything I want people to know HIM! It’s because of Him I am free. It’s because of Him, when I have low moments I have a strong tower to run into. It’s because of Him, in a fallen world I have the hope of glory. It’s because of Him, that when this life is over we have a home prepared for us. I want the world to know that’s what my brand stands for, believes in & hopes for! That everyone would come to know Him for themselves & that He’s coming back for us. He’s coming soon.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Ah, what a question because I love to eat and try new places! Just ask my husband. Ha!

For starters, I’m a brunch lover! So, The Real Milk and Honey in College Park Atlanta has some of the best brunch options in my opinion.

I love Italian cuisine, one of my favorite spots is Pricci off Pharr Rd. in Buckhead. They have amazing authentic Italian that you will love. So delicious! It’s a 5 star restaurant as well, so it’s a great occasion to get dressed up!

If you love something intimate and fun, Rock Steady off Marietta St in Atlanta has delicious Caribbean food and an amazing atmosphere. You’ll feel as if you’re in the islands. Love that spot!

Some cool places to try: The Painted Duck, Skyline Park & Puttshack! You’re sure to have a great time at any of the places.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
The person who deserves credit and recognition in my story is my Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ. Without Him saving my life, changing my story & redeeming me I simply would not be here. I would not be making music about Him. He’s opened my eyes & given me sight to see what life is really all about. Which is, giving Him the glory He is due. When I write, it’s Him who gives me the words, the melodies & it’s Him who’s blessed me with this gift to sing and write songs. I would not be able to share my story & my testimony without knowing I am free in Him, I would be afraid and ashamed. But, Glory to the One who sets us free from those chains. I’m now able to testify with my life and sing of ALL He’s done & all He’s doing! So, for the rest of my life I will return this gift back to Him. So, Shout-out to Jesus!
