Meet Tiffany Macey | Investor and Instructor of The Wholesale Secret

We had the good fortune of connecting with Tiffany Macey and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Tiffany, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I had a lot of adversities stacked against me. I am disabled, I have felonies and I have done actual prison time. Finding a job was extremely difficult due to these limitations. Even if you are a non-violent ex-felon, the job market is still very tight. Menial jobs weren’t cutting it for me. I was living paycheck to paycheck for a long time. I was a career server in the hospitality industry. I made ends meet, but barely. I was in a car accident that left me injured to the point where I could no longer do the work. I was devastated. I had to resort to using an ex-girlfriend’s name & social in order to drive Uber. But, it wasn’t enough. I needed & required more for myself. In 2017, a friend told me about wholesaling real estate. I studied it for 2 years before me and my then girlfriend, Erica, decided to go for it. We made our first deal and I was hooked. Once I got better and better at it, I decided to launch a course teaching others how to make 5 figure deals. I am very passionate about helping other people succeed and have financial stability. The decision to start this business was one of the best decisions I ever made.

What should our readers know about your business?
I am a wholesaler in the real estate industry. Aside from closing multiple 5-figure deals every month, I also teach others to do exactly what I do. In order to reach positive success, I believe everyone needs a coach who has “been there, done that.” I teach a course that allows all students to bypass the difficulties and pitfalls associated with this industry. My course is my passion. I love helping people and I want to help make people financially stable while reclaiming their time. I just started offering one-on-one mentorship and this will allow me to turn my students into powerhouses easier, more efficiently and quicker.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
First thing I would do is go to Nana’s Chicken and Waffles for brunch. We would go to Black Wall Street, Auburn Ave, and then Ponce City Market. I’d take them to Phipps for some shopping and definitely Moustache Hookah Lounge. I would take them to a few of my favorite restaurants like C & S Seafood, La Tavola, and Ecco. I would definitely do Taco Tuesdays at Tacos and Tequilas. We could catch some culture at The High Museum & Atlantic Station on a Sunday.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My wife, Erica, has been my biggest cheerleader and supporter. If not for her pushing me and speaking positivity in my life & our businesses, I wouldn’t be where I am today. Having a supportive partner is something so many people lack. It can be difficult to navigate business without someone to kick you into high gear and let you know when you’re underplaying your potential. I am so grateful to have her.
