Hi Iesha, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I originally made my chapstick for my son his he would get the chapped lips so bad , so the chapsticks was a hit , im like okay I love lipgloss lets see if I can make something for girls too. my lipglosses were hit I was whipping gloss in my mom house on the living room table . AS TIMe went on I wanted to make everybody feel pretty I wanted makeup I started researching products for years now I have one of the hottest makeup lines in my home town , I love making people feel pretty I love pretty stuff handsome I love that for everybody

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
my line is very personal everything I started the line for my son once I went into cosmetics I named products after my family , my friends , even some of their children . I have my own way of talking its just a part of who I am I also use some of the phrases that I use on the daily in my line “So hard ” , Toots, Cutie head , just to name a few , im a trendsetter my words get picked up quickly I knew it would be perfect to just continue growing with my brand as I am a person .

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
okay so on Sunday we would go to trust lit brunch Monday we would def hit selfie museum downtown we love taking pics to that would def be a nice spot to go .
Tuesday we can go to views for some good green tea shots good food and music
Wednesday we will wine down with self care with angel hansard in she has a great spa def should check her out
thursday we would go wine tasting and shoe shopping with on pointe she has a dope shoe line we love shoes also trillgates shoes on congress downtown we love gyms shoes and crocs
Friday we would get our hair tighten up makeup done of course using my makeup line with Briana white and Shakia Curley they are both located in Dearborn Mi
Saturday we do a day party a rooftop club downtown before sis have etc catch her flight on Sunday

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
my person I have a person a human , my friend turned bestfriend turned sister , Tierra Jones aka boom aka islaytierreextensions . she has literally helped me throughout this entire journey . From the very beginning she has mentally physically and emotionally supported me I’ve been scared ive quit so many times and she’s always steered me In the right direction .not even just with my business just life period , a lot of things im able to do I wouldnt be able to do without her guidance or mentorship , fav I love you so hard thank you for always being you being supportive of every decision ive ran across you thank you for being kind thank you for recharging me when im drained I hope every dream you continue to make come true , Im here for it every step of the way , I love you thank you .
