Meet Amber Phillips | Owner of Fresh Deposits Cold Pressed Juice

We had the good fortune of connecting with Amber Phillips and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Amber, what’s the most difficult decision you’ve ever had to make?
When I started my business, I worked a full time job. For 2 years, I hadn’t really been able to focus on growth, only sustaining and making a little bit of profit. I recently made the decision to quit my job so my business can expand. Leading up to making that decision, I remember having so much anxiety about losing my comfortable salary and depending solely on my business with nothing set in stone… just a dream, a plan and goals!

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
The Fresh Deposits Company is a cold pressed juice company founded in 2020 in Atlanta, GA. Our juices are juiced fresh and delivered fresh every week! Of course, there are several juicing companies out there bottling all natural juices using only fresh fruits/vegetables. But, what sets us apart is our packaging and branding – and that is what I am most proud about. Fresh Deposits represents healthy and wealthy living. We believe that if you deposit fresh nutrients into your body (bank), you will forever be rich in health!

I started this company in the early months of the pandemic when an awareness for healthy lifestyles came to the forefront of our minds. I am grateful that we have remained in business through the pandemic and continue to deliver our products weekly. This journey has not been easy, a lot of sleepless nights but it is worth it.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I don’t go out much anymore but Atlanta has some cool districts to visit. We’d definitely check out Ponce City Market for shopping and eats and drinks on the rooftop. L5P has a really cool vibe with lots of cool people to run into.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My daughter, Harmony deserves a huge shoutout for her support in dealing with me during my entrepreneurial journey and all the sacrifices that she has made to support my venture. Not only is she super supportive but she helps me produce and attend festivals and shows. Which means, she sometimes misses out on fun teenager stuff. I’m truly thankful for her support, love and encouragement.
