We had the good fortune of connecting with Amy selig and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Amy, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor behind Stellar Bodies success, is the people. The team that works for Stellar and the clients that walk in our doors. The impression, customer service and authentic knowledge from our staff, helps direct our clients to feel welcome and happy to work out together. We have a wonderful community of friends, that have met in our studios or already have had past experiences together. The common goal with these people that work at Stellar Bodies is exceptionalism with kindness, and our clients are excited to be part of the program.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am so proud to be the first person to bring the Lagree method to the state of Georgia in 2011! It was challenging to instruct individuals with no previous experience with this intense pilates method. I am excited to see the evolution of our brand from the original small space in buckhead to now…so many mistakes along the way! Opening a business is like jumping out of a plane while putting together the parachute at the same time. I am beyond proud of the team that instructs 107+ classes a week around town. The experience and knowledge with our instructors is superior….plus they are very cool and kind! being a single mother of two boys allowed me the challenge of balancing their activities and my desire to have a profitable business. They always came first, but not everyone would have that luxury…I made it a priority. I would tell anyone opening a business…trust your gut, learn to pivot and remove any negative people from the work place, ask questions and be open to new ideas.

I hope more people realize Stellar Bodies is the best workout in atlanta with amazing workout apparel to boot!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Well being that I am in my 50’s …this list could be boring to some! 😂 I would make dinner reservations at Umi and le biblequet f, and we would visit the GA Aquarium, hike Stone Mountain, and check out the BeltLine. If the weather permitted try to grab an outside seat at Del Bar in Inman Park for dinner and drinks, after walking the BeltLine. My guest would take a class at Stellar Bodies, and stay to shop with their friends and family discount. 🤩 I love being home, so having my favorite people visit is ideal. I would make sure they have their favorite foods and just connect. I will always gravitate to less crowded areas, since I am an extroverted introvert that needs space!😂

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I just laughed to myself thinking about Snoop Dog saying…”I want to thank myself” 😂.. I am forever grateful and excited to work with my team! They are from all different backgrounds and beginnings, but the commonality is kindness and the desire to work towards a better level of fitness…while having fun! Shoutout to Danielle Oves, my manager…she is hands down the most reliable amazing human being. I am very grateful for her and her friendship.
