We had the good fortune of connecting with Bridget Jenkins and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Bridget, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My thought process behind starting my own business was I didn’t want to keep working for anyone! I wanted to work on my own time and run things my way! Also didn’t want to be the parent that not there for their kids because of me working all the time!

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
So I have 2 businesses! I have been in the notary business coming up on 2 years and Royalty Glam, LLC business will be a year in April! What separate my businesses is for one I have great customer services! I care about my customers! Royalty Glam is like a one stop shop! I sell fedoras, custom charm bracelets, earring’s! And when I make my bracelets I make them with love and passion behind them! I love what I do and blessed to have the talent that I have! I have gotten to where I’m at today because of consistency and staying focused! Why I have learned along the way is no matter what comes your way or distractions, keep going and working on your business. Don’t let different obstacles stop you from keep working and taking your business higher! What I want the world to know about my brand is it’s a business of multiple things! It’s like if I had a store, you will be able to come in my store and purchase every accessories in one store from “Royalty Glam”

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I don’t really hang out with people or drive around town to tell someone a great place to visit! I’m all about my business and my family now in my life!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to dedicate my shoutout to the first and foremost God! I been through a lot in my life time & I’m still standing and going up in life! Also want to dedicate this to my husband! He has been my biggest supporter in everything I decide that I want to do! He always uplifts me and push me to keep going! My brother for teaching me certain things about the business world! And my kids deserves recognition in my story because I go hard the way I do for them to have a better life than I did!
