We had the good fortune of connecting with Prada G and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Prada, do you have a budget?
I wouldn’t say I confine myself to a budget but I don’t just throw every dollar towards my music. Aside from the normal costs of producing and distributing a song we have to think about videos, advertising, even Prada G merch is something I’m looking in to. And then there’s real life too. It’s really the grind in the background to stack up real quick so we can push something out heavy because we don’t play light anymore. I make these decisions when the time is right to make sure this roller coaster keeps going up.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I started rapping when I was just a kid in high school I was uploading on SoundCloud then. No one thought I was being for real when I said I was dropping a song and then it dropped and really gained some good traction locally. It also led to relationships with people in other states and countries that I ain’t even met. I’ve just been releasing music ever since. Over time I started to learn my self and my voice and my style has changed into what it is now. One big thing I found out for my self is that in the start I find it best to keep to yourself and really grind it out and make your wave. If you’re really the super star you’re trying to make the world believe you are, then you got all you need to really start something.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Well we probably got to hit the beach you feel me. That’s a easy spot. You could hit the beach day or night and the activities may differ depending on that you feel. Daytona a classic spot it ain’t too far away but St Augustine is closer they both got good food spots.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I got several people that could easily get this shoutout but I really want to highlight my fiancé. She has been with me before all the business and she never fails to hold it down. I would also like to shoutout someone who I see as a brother, owner of Berrari Films, Tracy Wells. Me and him clicked on the same level and we been challenging each other ever since, we really racing each other to the top because we know whoever make it first putting the other one on.
