We had the good fortune of connecting with Keya Nyame-Aje’ and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Keya, how do you think about risk?
In all honesty, I was probably the least likely to ever take risks. I always felt that the unknown was not a place for me to personally venture into to. However, as I have delved more into the teachings, studies and implementation of metaphysical ideologies, I don’t view it as taking risks, as much I see it as trusting in the Universe. I feel that we are always exactly where we are meant to be and will always end up exactly where we are meant to. This mindset is the reason that I started my Spiritual Wellness business in the first place. Although I had no clue as to what I was doing, I followed my inner spiritual compass and took the leap. In my life, I’ve learned that standing still only means you aren’t going anywhere. It is more devastating to think that I have fearfully wasted my life, than took chances where, maybe I missed my goal of landing on the moon… But I was able to touch the stars. When I heard inner guidance in terms of taking a chance on ideas, I’ve found that, the ones that I feared doing the most, became the most successful ventures once I took a chance and bet on myself.

What should our readers know about your business?
Mana Holistics Spiritual Health & Wellness is a woman owned, women focused, spiritual wellness practice. I am of service to male clients, but my primary focus is women. I feel what sets me apart is my tenacity, my genuine intentions and my ability to lovingly, yet firmly guide my clients to where they desire to be. Everything that I do within my business is spirit-led, and therefore, I feel this is why we get the results that we do. There is no cookie cutter method with me, and this is why my clients always walk away having received all that they need. No two sessions will ever be the same because each time the individual needs something different. As a Spiritual Wellness Coach, I offer an array of healing modalities as a born psychic-medium, certified 20th degree Reiki (Grand)Master/Teacher, Life coach, Thai Yoga Massage, Meditation and Sound Healing Practitioner. This is a few of the offerings that I extend on a daily basis, amongst a host of others. It has not been an easy journey to get to where I am today in my business. I started this business back in 2017 and I am fortunate to still have consistent clients that have been with me since day 1. I also have had moments of being discouraged and overwhelmed earlier on, but I am so glad I stuck with it. I have never been one to quit. Although I wanted to give up, my desire to help others, outweighed my feelings of wanting to give up. If my job is to help others to keep going when they want to give up, what example would I be setting by giving up on myself? I have learned that your business becomes most successful when you learn that you are the product. No matter your offerings, your clients are booking, purchasing, referring, etc., because of you. Be authentic and they will feel it. I host Queen’s Healing Staycations all over the world and I have women who have never met me, come and share space with myself and other women that they don’t know. They always say because my energy feels so genuine and something within them will tell them to come. Trust that if you were given the vision, then the visionary has already paved the most successful path for you.. I was afraid to start hosting the Queen’s Healing Staycations when I was given the idea. Bringing 20+ women together under one roof, for 3 days made me nervous. However, it has been one of the must rewarding offerings that I have. They are life changing! Not to mention, these strangers, become sisters and have lasting bonds.. AND THAT’S what it’s all about! Don’t be afraid to follow it. I would love for the world to know that my wisdom came at a price. They say when someone takes the time to share their wisdom with you, honor it, because it came at a price. I have endured A LOT in my life, allow my trials to be the sacrifice that was needed, to ensure you don’t have to go through what I did. One day my name will be a household name. Apart of my legacy is to have mothers, teach their daughters, and utilize me as one of the examples. I WILL touch the world and bring healing into the hearts and homes of beautiful souls all over the world! I’m on a spiritual healing mission!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
This should be interesting as I am a true homebody, lol. My best friend and I are literally the same soul in two separate bodies.. Or at least that is how it feels. A week long trip for me would probably be to a getaway. They are these tiny cabins out in the woods and they are AMAZING! The point of this trip would be to unplug, disconnect from the stresses of the world and reconnect with our inner-selves. Check-in is typically around 4 pm, so we’d check in. Unpack our groceries and clothing and get comfortable. Most likely, we’d start a fire in the pit and catch up over a glass of wine. My best friend is a chef, so she’d prepare something amazing. We love to talk about life and exploring topics that evolve us in some way. This would probably be days 1-3. I’m sure the remainder of the days, we’d drive into to town to find the local shops and eateries. I love a fine dining experience., preferably with some great pasta. The closest getaway is about 2 hours from Atlanta in the mountains. I’d spend time hiking, checking out museums, thrifting and mining for gems and crystals. One of the most fun experiences for me is being in a place of peace.. No worries, no responsibilities, no cares.. just complete freedom and solace. I love the mountains, disconnecting, great snacks, food, great energy and great movies.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Ahh, Yes… I would love to dedicate so much of my self, today, to my reading of The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz. Reading this book awakened me to parts of myself that I did not know existed within me. It has also healed me and held me accountable to being the greatest version of myself. I also have to thank my husband, my children and my best friend for their support, encouragement and always uplifting and motivating me. I definitely have to thank all of my clients, (that I affectionately call, “My Manafestors”) They support me, honor me, value me and believe in me. Without them, I probably wouldn’t even be interviewed by Shoutout Atlanta. Last, but definitely not least, I must pay homage and give all praises to my Ancestors. My grandmothers, My sister and all of those that I don’t know by name, but carry in my spirit. I AM forever grateful!
