We had the good fortune of connecting with Michael I-zayah and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Michael, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
It took years for me to figure out what kind of business I wasn’t in stable situation financially but now that I am finally settled I can’t wait to see what kind of doors will be open for me and my future!!

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am an r&b and hip hop artist, but I mainly do r&b and r&b soul I try my best to stand out and the funny thing is as far as my image people say that I favor Ceelo and the late rapper Biggie Smalls

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Tassili’s Raw Reality Café at the West End, Juicy Crab, Lemon Pepper Wings at Publix, Smoothie King, and Cold Stone Creamery

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Shoutout to my friends Courtney Robinson on her business Contractor at CLN Home Improvement, Shoutout to my homie Tone Walker on his label Money Milita Music Group, and Shoutout to my other friend Kiisha Hills Peachville Productions
