We had the good fortune of connecting with Lena Berry and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Lena, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind my success is that I never gave up even when I felt like I was failing and things didn’t line up as planned, something inside of me wouldn’t let me give in and as a result my brand has flourished. Another huge factor is that I’ve always presented my brand as a professional business which (along with my talent) helped me to attract high scale clientele .

What should our readers know about your business?
I am a Master Cosmetologist, hair loss replacement specialist and as of recently a Certified Business Coach in the state of Georgia.

I am the owner of Hair Baptism Studio & Hair Loss Center LLC and also the MAG Wig Collection

I believe what sets me apart from others is that I don’t try to appeal to the masses, when it comes to my craft I have a gift of serving a very specific client and I zone in on that.

I’ve reached the level I’m at today through dedication, perseverance and taking risk. It wasn’t easy, there were many obstacles to overcome and many times I wanted default to my “plan B” which was going back into my field of study in the business world. But I had to keep reminding myself GOD wouldn’t bring me this far to leave me. That constant self reminder kept me moving forward.

A major lesson I’ve learned along the way is that you can do or be anything you set out to as long as your intentions are pure. Everyday You have to take the time to work on being the best version of yourself as possible!

What I’d like the world to know about my brand is that it was created with a vision to give every client, rather online or in person an extra boost of confidence and a luxury salon feel.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I haven’t gotten out much since moving to the Atlanta area since I’ve been pretty much all work and little play but some of the spots I’ve visited that I’d definitely revisit would be Busy Bee Cafe for a chicken and waffle type of situation, Harolds Ice Bar. I love the aquarium and the surrounding area, the Coca Cola museum and Centennial park. The Braves stadium area is must see also.

There are a ton of things to do and see in and around the Atlanta area. The Midtown area is very hip and upcoming as well.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to give a shoutout to my family especially my husband for being supportive of me during my journey, he really believed in me and stood behind me 1000%.
