Hi Hakim, what’s the most important lesson your business/career has taught you?
One of the most important lessons my career has taught me is to always go with your gut feeling, whether it means to start something and/or end something. Your human intuition is not always the easiest answer but it’ll always be the right answer.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
What sets me apart from others is my drive, the tenacity I embody is impeccable. I strive to let nothing affect me, and if it does, it’s not for too long. Because once a goal is set, the plan is to move on even while encountering mishaps if any. I am most proud that I can adapt to any/every situation and make it worth my while. Every job I’ve had throughout my professional career has helped me while running my businesses. I’ve taken everything I’ve learned from working at a grocery store dealing with customers and in the service industry to working in corporate America and being able to speak high level with clients to sell myself and a product. No, it’s not easy but my goals and drive align properly for me to execute.

What I would like for you, those of you who read this is to continue on, never stop despite the ever-changing world. adapt and reform to execute. & When negative, self-doubting thoughts cross your mind, think of happy and positive thoughts. better yet, think of how far you’ve come. it’ll make a difference

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
my favorite spots depends on my mood, But I would take anyone to the buckhead shop area, or visit some of my local African American cafes that play good music and have great food with a hint of hookah.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Something so small yet has had a huge impact on my success will be a book called “The Secret” by Rhonda Byrne. It discusses manifestation, the power of the mind, and training your thoughts which eventually become things. Everything I’ve ever wanted and/or will have starts with a vision that’s written. And not to mention making sure you have the right support system, The right people in your daily life makes a difference
