We had the good fortune of connecting with Clarence Pearsall III and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Clarence, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
The reason I pursued the career of a professional magician is because I love entertaining people of all ages. The magic world is a total contrast of when I was a professional firefighter for 23 years. Becoming my persona is like Clark Kent becoming Superman. I transform into the larger-than-life award-winning magician known as C. Magic, who combines comedy, drama, and audience participation into his high-octane magical performances. On stage, this magical transformation creatively combines “old school” and “today’s” music with energetic magic, mind-blowing effects, and the comedic edge that will have audiences, of all ages, engaged, laughing, clapping, and at times dancing with my magical entertainment.

Being C. Magic allows me to show people of all ages, colors, nationalities, and religions that magic crosses all barriers without any prejudices. As a magician, I love the feeling of being different; being able to excite and mesmerize people with my magical skills, and the recognition as they call out my name “C. Magic.” Making sure that I utilize, market and brand C. Magic’s name, logo, cartoon, and persona keeps me relevant on all social media platforms, within the community and globally. As I continue honing my magical craft and striving to be one of the
best magicians in Atlanta and abroad, I look forward to performing my shenanigans to all who want to C. Magic Happen up close and personal.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am Clarence H. Pearsall III, aka C. Magic, an award-winning magician. I combine comedy, drama, and audience participation into my high-octane magical performances. My style of magical creativity combines “old school” and “today’s” music along with energetic magic, mind-blowing effects, and my comedic edge will have audiences of all ages engaged with my magical shenanigans.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would take my friend to the aquarium and then to Varsity to eat. Next we would see where Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., lived and preached. I would also visit CNN and take a tour at Coca-Cola. For dinner we may go to the Atlanta Fish Market or The Capital Grille.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
