Meet Demont Pope | Youth Motivational & Inspirational Speaker, Author, and Consultant

We had the good fortune of connecting with Demont Pope and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Demont, how does your business help the community?
My business helps the community and the world by inspiring, educating, and empowering students to realize their true potential and self worth and motivating them to become the best version of themselves. This gives our youth the ability to become confident leaders and productive citizens everywhere.

What should our readers know about your business?
My business was born from my pain and struggles. As I worked to personally and professionally develop myself, I discovered that I had the ability to teach what I was learning to others and motivate them to take action as well. I am most proud of the fact that I never gave up and I am most excited about the legacy that I am building. It has been a life long journey to get to where I am today and will continue to be a process. The process has not been easy. To be honest, it has been quite difficult. I have encountered and I continue to encounter various challenges. What helps me to overcome is knowing that I have a Purpose and that people are depending on me to live that purpose. Along the way, I have learned that when you have a vision, people may not always believe in you or support that vision. That’s a tough pill to swallow but understanding that your vision and your purpose was given to you and not others for a reason makes it bearable. This taught me that you must believe in yourself and your own vision. You must be willing to support yourself even when nobody else will. I want the world to know that I am not better than anyone but I am an example of hope to everyone and if I can overcome, then anyone can overcome. I overcame and will continue to do so because I made a decision to place my “Purpose Over Pointless Excuses”.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
This is a really tough question for me to answer because I don’t consider myself to be a fun person so to speak. I am able to mix and mingle if I have to but I am sort of an introvert nowadays. I don’t care much for hanging out, especially with today’s climate I am pretty much a homebody. However, if I must go out, a Brazilian Steakhouse or something similar would be my go to place.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to dedicate my shoutout to my Mentor/Coach Jeremy Anderson, The Next Level Speakers Academy, and The Next Level Speakers Elite Staff and Community for the training, support, accountability, and guidance that is empowering me to be able to effectively make an impact and add value to the world.
