We had the good fortune of connecting with Spynsir Tucker and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Spynsir, career-wise, where do you want to be in the end?
My End goal is to have multiple SyliskaBeauty stores around the world. By 2024 is my goal to have my first store in my home city of San Francisco , CA. I want to be known as a successful business owner when its all said and done. I want people to know SyliskaBeauty cosmetics for being luxurious, affordable and for everyone.

What should our readers know about your business?
I started SyliskaBeauty in 2019 originally doing eyelash extensions and Microblading. I started feeling like this wasn’t for me because first I don’t personally wear either one. So it wasn’t authentic. In 2020 I rebranded my company, changed my logo, turned my business into an LLC, and made it a Cosmetics company. One day I was doing my makeup, and I thought to myself “ how cool would it be to have my own brand of makeup?” Rihanna really inspired me, because she started the trend of having a foundation for literally every skin complexion. I want A line any skin type can shop with. Starting a business where no one knows you isn’t easy, especially If don’t have a big following on social media your literally starting from the bottom. I had to start off paying MUA who had a big following to promote, and a lot of pop-ups. Getting people to trust my brand is another thing. People are so stuck in their ways were they only wear a certain type of brand. I have to sell why my foundation is better or just as good as the one their using now. I just want the world To give my brand a chance.

You’ll see you don’t have to spend a whole lot of money to have a Luxurious style makeup.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Coming to San Francisco First we need breakfast, we would go to “Bayside Cafe”
For bruch/ lunch we would
Go to the Pink Elephant and have bottomless mimosas, dance
And eat.
Shopping is always a good idea, so we’ll head off to Union Square.
When it comes to dinner Joes Of Westlake is where we’re headed, Best place for Italian.
You have to check out our Pier39 for the best seafood, Top Golf for some entertainment, and Sweet Maples for their millionaire bacon.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to shout out my husband first, for always believing in my dreams, he always tell me I can do it, and he’s behind me every step of the way. Secondly, I want to thank my mom, because when I feel defeated, exhausted, and overwhelmed she gets my mind right and tell me “You got this your way too far ahead to stop now”.

And Lastly my friends for supporting my business by making purchases,shouting me out on Social media, and giving advice. Starting a business is not easy, but when you have a great support system it makes it a whole lot better.
