Hi Harold and Carlton, what role has risk played in your life or career?
We’re risk takers. When one ask us what we think of risk, we always reply that we think of the word faith. They go hand and hand. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. When we entered into a faith/risk business it was a paradigm shift for our live. We could not lean to our own understanding and we had to acknowledge God in ALL thy ways, not just saying it but actually living it. The significance of greatness is always being different. One can not expect to succeed in this lifetime operating in a spirit of fear. The Bible says in 2 Timothy 1:7 (KJV): For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. I understood that. F.E.A.R. – false evidence appearing real. It all starts with ones mindset. What you dwell on is who you become. We never dwelled in fear. You also have to know that elevation isn’t everyones goal. Growth is scary to those who are stagnant. Your journey will be misunderstood by those that’s not meant to join you.

In closing, we want to remind you the reader that in Isaiah 55:11 (KJV) God said, My word shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. This for us means, If he called you to it then he will see you through it. A wise man once told us bigger the risk bigger the reward. No risk no reward. We’ll leave you with this; Faith + Focus = Fulfillment. Once you add the both together God then can do exceedingly & abundantly over your life.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
The Black Brunch Club, LLC is a hospitality/entertainment company that curate events for individuals to gather in unity. Our events provide dope aesthetics and ambiance with great food, energy, and likeminded individuals.

One of our proud moments as a company is launching our business first short term rental property. We have been able to acquire an Airbnb space in the metro Atlanta area.

Changing people lives has set us aside from others, our greatest gift we have ever received was the support from our patrons month over month.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
In visiting the beautiful city of Atlanta of course you have attend one of the hottest brunches in the south eastern region and that’s the Black Brunch Club Synergy Brunch Day party at Lily’s. Also we will explore other restaurants and lounges like Access out in the historic Mabelton area.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
We want to shoutout Lily’s Restaurant and Lounge for making it possible for us to host the Synergy brunch every first Sunday of each month.
