Meet Sucandra Marbury | Founder of Jazzy Lash Co.

We had the good fortune of connecting with Sucandra Marbury and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Sucandra, let’s talk legacy – what do you want yours to be?
My ultimate goal is to pass on to my children a legacy of character and faith. I learned early on that the things I do for myself will be gone when I am gone, but the things I do for others will remain as a part of my legacy. I pray that I am remember as a loving, caring ,strong, outspoken, selfless and warrior of a woman. I just want to make sure that I crave my name in my kids, family & loved ones hearts..

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am an upcoming lash technician..study esthics….
I have been a business owner for little over a year now. .It was the most hardest yet most amazing year of my life.Overall I must say the moment I put God first and got to truly loving on myself doors starting opening up for me that I never thought to knock on.
The biggest lesson I have learned thru this is everyone can’t go with you and that’s ok, and make sure to stay down and to always always work on perfecting your craft and adding more to your rooster.
I say it all the time It’s Not Always About Being Motivated When Doing Things Most times It’s About Staying Consistent ‼️‼️‼️
Jazzy Lash Co was inspired by my baby sister my Only Jaznee Marbury who passed away from liver cancer in 2010. Jaz was a true go getter and breathe of fresh air she was just that girl. I want the world to know that my strand and my soon to be empire is bigger than me it’s truly a legacy and I’m just trying my best to make my Sister proud!
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Midtown is my favorite place to shop and eat.
Of course we would hit up toast of lenix for brunch and then check out a few boutiques.
Later we would hit up my side the best Side “south side” for some real back in the day fun

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My kids are my strength to keep going , and my mother ihas always been the one to keep me on my toes and remind me that I am worthy of all things.
Last but not least my village made up of my spouse and my awesome friends that let me know everyday how proud they are of me and that the best is yet to come!
