We had the good fortune of connecting with James Leveque and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi James, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I was an educator in the public school system for 11 years. My thought process has always been how can I create financial freedom for myself while helping my community. So I had to had to study and educate myself while getting the proper licenses in my industry.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Being in the financial service industry, there are a lot of people out there that do it just for the money. I wanted to sell a product that I personally use to protect my family. My thought process is if this product is helping me it can help others as well. What sets me apart is my passion and the fact that I’m able to be my authentic self and not having to compromise my integrity for money. Also giving out free information because it’s one thing to know something but to teach it and deliver it so potential customers can understand is a skill. I’m really excited about our future and getting financial literacy in the schools. We’ve crated a curriculum for young scholars that can give them a head start in their financial future. The lessons that I’ve learned along the way is to put God in every move you make. We may have a plan for our lives but his plan is always greater and last resistance. I want the world to know that our brand “talk 2 em” is about speaking you truth no matter how ugly it may be because it may help another person.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
first place I would take them is to get some food I would take them to my favorite breakfast place Stoneridge cafe. They have the best eggs benedict ever. Then I’d hit up the braintree mall because I like to get fresh. After that we may go get a workout at Hard Knocks Muay Thai. Then we gonna go get a massage at bodyworks after that we gonna get a fresh haircut from Dr. Boogz Da Barber. After that go home shower then grab some dinner at Del Friscos. After dinner we might go listen to some music and vibe out at Bijou.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Big shoutout to my lady Dr.Angie for her continued support and her belief in my vision. I also want to shoutout my church family for prayers and overall positive energy.
