We had the good fortune of connecting with Lasaraha Bell and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Lasaraha, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor behind my success is that i don’t ever forget my WHY.. The reason why I started my business always remembering the foundation of Laviv Virgin Hair Bourique LLC

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I started my business Laviv Virgin Hair Boutique LLC back in 2017 after my sister passed away from breast cancer in 2016. Starting my business was a way to feel as though this was something her and I could do together. What made me choose to be a hair vendor well one was my sister and I loved keeping our hair right lol My mom always told us as young as I can remember that it is important that as women we must keep our hair and self up she said which is our mission as a company is “If you look your best you can feel your best”I wanted to be able to give others the opportunity to feel their best by being able to look their best. I believe I have come as far as I have because I remind myself daily why I started my business and that is to keep my sister’s legacy alive and I strive to use my platform to make a difference in the world anyway I can possible. Since being in business I have donated wig units to cancer patients or individuals suffering with alopecia my goal is to be able to donate in a larger capacity . Have there been challenges along the way? Of course but they have not been challenged that has caused me to want to stop pushing through and forward. Has it been easy No it took a lot of late nights staying up taking late meetings reviewing product removing product starting from scratch rebranding ect.. one of the biggest challenges I would say is learning not to be a solopeneur building a strong team and learning to delegate, because of the foundation of which my business is built on I hold very dear to me so I am very protective of the brand and who stands behind it. I have overcame this challenge by understanding that most of the most successful people have a great team behind them because they can not do everything alone

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
