We had the good fortune of connecting with arielle king and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi arielle, why did you pursue a creative career?
I have always had a passion with the things I create all the way back to my childhood. I am very skillful at drawing and also enjoy painting pieces, so as I grew older my creative passions started to branch out in event planning and eventually lead me to making handcrafted pieces made of resin.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Our business focuses on making organizational  trays, coasters, and ashtrays made of resin. This solution is perfect for a glass like look without the fear of your product shattering. We are a small business that has been established for 6 months now and still growing! This started as a business for creating customized ashtrays, then led to the larger organizational tray that you can use to keep your keys and jewelry in or as a centerpiece on your table. Now we are producing multiple piece sets for gifts, and we will continue to provide more products for more to enjoy. There are always challenges that are presented when building the foundation of a business, but what matters most is how you overcome a misfortune, and turn it into an opportunity.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Living in Midtown Atlanta, there are always great places to visit and even better places to eat! My 4 year old daughter enjoys trips to the playground at Piedmont Park, or riding her bike along the belt line. We also enjoy visiting Joy Cafe on Peachtree every Sunday for brunch, and dinner for three at our favorite place for tacos, The Original El Taco.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I have so many people on my team that I am truly grateful for. My biggest supporters in my life would be my family who always push me to strive for greatness, and to my daughter who helps me in more ways than one no matter what passion I am pursuing. I would also like to recognize my best friend of 8 years who is not only a confidant and strategist, but also a helping hand, and listening ear. As entrepreneurs,  our skill and strength are tested everyday but together we will face every obstacle with style and grace.
