We had the good fortune of connecting with Michelle Mendoza and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Michelle, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
Back in Venezuela I went to college and got my Business Administration degree. Years and years of hard studies make me realized that that wasn’t the right career for me. I looked back in my past and my artistic side was always there, I used to dance ballet and jazz for around 10 years. When I started modeling and walking like there’s nothing wrong in the world, like is just you and that unique piece that you need to show and just feels amazing. All those things made me realize that I’m good at this, that I feel secure and I show my true self when I’m on stage. This is why I decided to keep my artist career, even though it’s not easy when you have to change your whole life due an immigration, but this is what makes me happy, this is why I have my artistic career.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I feel like Hannah Montana sometimes. One day I’m this normal girl working on my office, accounting stuff. Being super serious and focus on what’s going on with the numbers and the next day I’m walking in high heels and dancing around with a beautiful dress and having the audience to clap and scream of joy!

That’s my life!

As a model I always look forward to improve my stile, how I do things and how other see me.

I knew that I can do everything once I almost win a beauty pageant in my country. I recognize that is a hard world and with a lot of temptation. But I was true to myself and show the rest of the girls that I wasn’t going to lose myself for a crown. Since then I showed everyone that everything I do is with pure talent and hard work.

I love being a model, nobody will take that away from me.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I will say 800 TikTok!

Great tool to find some great places.
But if I have to choose of what I know right now, I will say that the first stop will be True Food over Avalon, nice walk around, delicious food and get ready to start the fun!

For drinks and dancing I will definitely choose buckhead, it’s just the best place and find out everything around.

And I wouldn’t miss a walking over the Arabian mountain to see the sunset.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
To all my team back in Venezuela, they know who they are, those to help me with my very first steps, them who always showed love and respect to me and made me better, thank you guys! ILY. To my mom and sister who believe in what I do and help me all the way.

And to my dear fiancé, who’s the one by my side on every step of the way.
Thank you all, always love for you.
