We had the good fortune of connecting with Lesean Mccall and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Lesean, every day, we about how much execution matters, but we think ideas matter as well. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
My business started as a hobby while I was expanding my knowledge in self care. One day I developed a fungus using products from general stores that had all these nasty chemicals in it. So naturally I grew tired using products with promises of results only to get reactions from the products bought. Therefore I started researching natural oils that treat and heal the body. I would use these products mostly in my morning rituals to start my day. And it began to be something I looked forward to in order to prepare me for my day. Soon I decided it was more than a hobby, but a well deserved lifestyle that needed to be shared with the world as friends were asking me “how do you take such great care of your skin, it’s so beautiful.”
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
My Bath Bar delivers natural handmade products for the “bath time” rituals. What sets us apart isn’t just the ingredients we use but the conversation on wellness we have with our growing customers. We are excited to have products that you can read & understand, as well as bringing awareness to what it means when you choose use all natural products. You are consciously connecting the mind body and spirit by understanding the ingredients and choices you make while using our products. By choosing this way to think and live, it has helped me understand my customer base and their needs, driving me to dive into research and development of products and self. This task was not an easy tasks because you have to be well informed as well as well rounded to put a business together and make it have meaning. You overcome these challenges by executing various strategies daily, and staying consistent at that. Whether it’s a life task or a skin routine. One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned along the way sums up to never give up! Rome wasn’t built in a day and change doesn’t happen overnight. I simply would like the world to understand that lesson and really dissect it’s message and apply it into their own personal lives for betterment.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would have a trip right here in my native city, Atlanta by taking my friends to envegan for food, Piedmont park for peace of mind and bonfire ATL for entertainment and expansion. Envegan is a great place for plant based lovers and also people who love to try a new way of understanding food. Piedmont Park is a great place to breath and get fresh air for a mental break from day to day life. And Bonefire ATL is great for networking and having an amazing time with other artist in various industries. These are very fun places that won’t break the bank and spice up any ideas for fun.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
A lot of books and people who have already started the journey to awareness have helped inspire me in my personal journey to wellness. Though I cannot name anyone specifically because there are too many to name, I give these entities their flowers along they way in my BTS posts on my various social media platforms.
