Meet Diamante Knox | Master Cosmetologist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Diamante Knox and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Diamante, what’s the end goal, career-wise?
My end goal is to show the world my God given talent. I believe that I have a talent and a story that can motivate others to continue chasing their dreams and to pursue their goals. By the end of my career I want to be successful. My vision of being successful is being able to put others in position to become successful also. I want to see everyone win before my career is over!

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I am a licensed master cosmetologist. What sets me apart from others is my natural born talent, my attitude and the confidence I have behind my craft. I am most proud of the way that I challenge myself to go further and exceed my expectations. I’m excited to see what the future holds for me. I got this far because of God. God showed me a vision and I chase that vision every day. I had people help me a long the way by showing me support in areas I needed help and teaching me how to handle business as a cosmetologist. No it was not easy. This is one of the hardest things I had to do, Stepping out on faith and chasing that dream that I thought would never come true. I’ve learned to hold on to my faith and to never give up. Giving up is not an option for me. I want the world to know that this is just the beginning for me. My story consists of a lot of struggle and pain just to get my brand to where It is today but I will use it to help others.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I’m not that familiar with Atlanta yet but I’m learning about new places every day. If i had a friend visiting in the area we would start off by going to Atlanta Breakfast Club for a good breakfast meal or Zari’s for some brunch after a night filled with fun. We would hang out in the downtown area to shop than go and buy some accessories from Diamond Lush Collection. We would visit places like Stone Mountain, Cocoa Cola world, the Sky Line View, and Botanical Gardens. Our night life would consist of hanging at lounges like Sudo’s, The Ivory Restaurant, and Encore..

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would first like to give a shout-out to God for getting me this far, I would’ve never made it this far without His guidance and strength. While On my journey I’ve ran into a lot of bumps along the road and still do but with God on my side I understand that there are well needed detours to get me to my destiny. I would also like to give a shoutout to my family for the love and support that they’ve given me through my journey. They have motivated me and encouraged me to keep going because I’m not just doing this for me it’s also for them.
