We had the good fortune of connecting with Bryce Wilson, James Foushee, & Jacob Finerty and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Bryce Wilson, James Foushee,, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Bryce Wilson, James Foushee, and Jacob Finerty meet in college on the football field at Western Carolina University. Upon graduating, James and Jacob moved from NC down to Atlanta, GA. Bryce returned home to Atlanta. After experiencing some months outside of school and into the work field, the pandemic hit. Resulting in Bryce & Jacob being laid off due to Covid-19 and James working remotely from home. A month into the pandemic, we noticed a need for help with food distribution mainly, as well as homelessness, during isolation, people who were battling with depression, etc. James had the idea to create this brand. The idea for this brand was something that he set on for years, but he knew his vision was bigger than anything he has ever done alone. He shared the idea with his two most trusted friends Jacob and Bryce. We came up with the organization to encourage people to be at peace with their current situation and to learn to love themselves for who they were created to be. There was a time in our lives where we needed Peace & Love; therefore, we decided to become what we once longed for because we understood that everyone is dealing with something. That is exactly why Peace & Love TTW is a movement promoting that mindset.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Bryce Wilson- My position at Peace & Love TTW is the Chief Operating Officer & Chief Marketing Officer. Getting to this position, after graduating from school I was a group sales rep for the Harlem Globetrotters, that position helped improve my communication skills, being able to call different individuals from around the US and Canada. As well as market myself, I have to market myself to get in touch with the right people and create promotional content that would be shared wherever the team would travel. Those skills correlate to what I’m doing by helping my marketing efforts to post the best content for the organization and the communication skills helped communicate with the team as well as individuals we meet and would help push our movement.

James Foushee- Here at Peace & Love TTW, I am the Chief Brand Officer and the Chief Visionary Officer which gives me the freedom to be creative and dream. I am also responsible for ensuring that we are doing our weekly community service. The organization was birth in the midst of our own personal turmoil. After experiencing the trials and tribulations of life our we saw a need to help. The creation of this brand has not been easy however it has been worth it. We still have a long way to go and a lot to learn. outside of Peace & Love TTW, I am a REALTOR at Keller Willams Atlanta Midtown. I have a community-first mindset. My primary focus is service to others.

Jacob Finerty- I am a 24-year-old from Greensboro, NC. I graduated from Western Carolina where I received my Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration & Law. Here at Peace & Love TTW, I am the brands Chief Administration Officer. I am beyond blessed to be in this position today. As a kid, I’ve always had intentions of serving. Whether that being giving my teammates everything I had to ensure to get our best results. From growing up in a little town in NC to now running an organization in this great city of Atlanta. I like being able to create change in a world that needs so much help and doing that with my brothers brings me back to the sports days when we must do everything in our power to put our best effort in to help out the community.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Bryce Wilson- I’m a food person so no matter what we do I’d take my guest to Slutty Vegan, Cafe Bourbon St, Foxx Original Jamaican Restaurant, Delia’s Chicken Sausage Stand, & I’d take them to walk on the beltline to get a taste of the city.

Jacob Finerty – I want to first start by saying I’m more of a homebody. But when I do go out I like going to Atlantic station. I am a big fan of the movies so at the AMC at Phipps Plaza. I like eating at the Breakfast club you just have to make sure you get there early because that line is always packed. Then for lunch, I would get my favorite food truck in Atlanta Cafe Bourbon Street. Then probably for dinner, I like to get ATL wings. In my opinion some of the best wings in the city. Then a nice hangout spot of my preference is the Painted Duck.

James Foushee- Walking the Beltline listening to music is by far my favorite thing to do.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Bryce Wilson- My Shoutout would have to go to my parents. They molded me into a God-fearing man who has the heart to help others. Growing up I learned that I was blessed to be in the position I’m in because of them and doing community service at a young age opened my eyes to realize that a lot of people in my city, needless to say, this world, don’t have the opportunities I do. So the point of us doing community service now is to let the served individuals know they are not forgotten about.

Jacob Finerty- Throughout my life, my family has always been my driving force. Whenever obstacles arrive in my life they are always the first ones to help me find a solution. With that being said there’s no way I could just narrow it down to one person. I would like to credit the people outside of my family as well. In life I feel like having a strong supporting class makes for a strong individual.

James Foushee- I’d give a shoutout to God for putting me in situations that were dark and foreign to me. In the midst of adversity, I realized that I could handle my problems, and my issues were minor compared to what others are dealing with daily. This realization pushed me to help others because I understood how the (minor) things I dealt with made me feel; therefore, I became eager to be the change I wanted to see. I Would also shoutout to my family and Bryce and Jacob for making our dream a reality.
