Meet Kj Johnson | Entrepreneur

We had the good fortune of connecting with Kj Johnson and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Kj, where are your from? We’d love to hear about how your background has played a role in who you are today?
I’m from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania more specifically a town called Penn Hills, just a few miles from downtown. I come from a small family, the youngest out of three boys. Being the youngest brother I learn so much and it made me become a mature young man faster than others, especially because my older brothers have always been good leaders. When I was real small my parents moved me and my older brothers from a tougher neighborhood, we didn’t grow up rich but both of my parents worked hard and long hours to take care of their kids. Though I never had to struggle, I watched my parents deal with stress, coming home irritable from long days, and other real life problems so as I grew older I appreciated more and more of my parents, so I work hard, get through adversity, and chase my dreams in hopes to be able to give for all their sacrifices.

What should our readers know about your business?
I have two businesses I’m working on right now I own a Brand called Till The End aka TTE and I’m also a part time landscaper. My brand is really like my first kid right now, I see so much potential in it, so many plans and ideas. My brand I feel like is so much different because it has such a meaningful purpose and I feel like it can be so big because of how much it can pertain to. Till The End means living with passion and living by your own values to life, like your family , being by their side no matter what, trying to make sure they’re good “TILL THE END”. It can be about art, loving to paint and draw, expressing yourself through art , the same for music, and so many other things, it’s a way of living to get out of the social norms trying to live like somebody else and just do you because you only have one life and you never know when its your time in reality. That’s why my logo is a hourglass with a broken heart. It’s definitely hard having a brand because you need the funds and when it’s slow on sales that doesn’t make it any easier and you have so many ideas you want to put out but you just. don’t got it all together yet. In reality, I knew I wasn’t going to be easy I know I have to sacrifice my time, money, and energy like my parents if I ever want to see my visions come true. One lessons I learned having my own brand is not worrying about haters only give your real supporters your energy, you’ll waste your time and exhaust yourself trying to get everybody on your side. You’ll see TTE will be national one day maybe even global but follow the ig @tteheart !
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
All my friends from pittsburgh too but if they werent definitely take them on the south side of Pittsburgh it can be fun if people know how to act. For food, gotta take em to good Salvatores, fire pizza and wings. A nice chill spot would definitely be The Point or riding the bikes around downtown then eat somewhere. The most fun is really where ever you make it, in Pittsburgh you just gotta have the right people to do stuff with, I mean there’s kennywood and sandcastle but I haven’t been there in a min.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
