We had the good fortune of connecting with Tiffani Dash and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Tiffani, can you tell us more about your background and the role it’s played in shaping who you are today? Born and raised in a small rural town in ga.Growing up in a single parent household as the youngest had its pros & cons. You definitely gain independency skills at an early age.My mother worked long hours majority weekdays some weekends. So some tasks i had to take on quickly such as small items to cook, making sure all homework complete as well as in the bed on time because when she arrived i would be asleep. However watching my mother showed me the spirit of determination, spirit of faith, self confidence, resilence,& perserverance. And looking back today i wouldn’t change a thing. Her struggles built her character as well as mine. I always tell people never be ashamed of your story, its what make you unique. So today as a mom of 3 i chose to embark on the entrepreneurial journey simply for the freedom & flexibility it allows me with my family.I had no desire of trading long hours once i became a mother i simply made the decision and 11 yrs later im still on the journey. Is it easy NO! But is it worth it absolutely!I learned time is one thing you simply can’t receive back. This journey allows my kids to learn the exact things i learned from my mom just in a different way.The spirit of determination, spirit of faith, self confidence, resilence & perserverance. I instill in them nothing worth having comes easy it requires an unshakeable faith and consistency.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work. As stated previously I’m an entrepreneur currently working as a Celebrity Wardrobe Stylist as well as Brand Stylist for luxurious vegan nailpolish brand “ BEI POLISHED”. Owned by R& B Grammy Recording Artist Brandi D Williams from the group “ Blaque “. This has been the most amazing experience in life . I owe it all to God that’s who made it happen ! Definitely not easy as it looks.I recently created a community for moms “Mom On Purpose”based on various things I’ve seen and experienced in my personal life on the journey of motherhood. There’s some moms literally struggling financially, mentally, spiritually and they have absolutely no one to relate to . We sometimes may see motherhood being painted as an easy task to those that have a support system, but speaking from experience everyone first have that support system. And without the proper support/community you then have a mom on a journey not believing her dreams and goals are not attainable as well as some may question being a mother at all. So I wanted to be the voice for that community of moms and create a judgement free zone for the topics no one else may discuss as well as mind, body, spirit .A mother that’s strong mentally can conquer anything physically.Creating this community has provided such fulfillment in my life as well .When you have a true passion for things no matter how hard it gets you will hang in there’.I’ve learned on this journey to remain true to you never follow the crowd. And not allow money to be a motivating factor for anything you do it life, you must have a passion. I want to leave you with this one question. Are you willing to do your current occupation for FREE?
