Meet Kiara Holt | Life + Style Blogger

We had the good fortune of connecting with Kiara Holt and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Kiara, how does your business help the community?
Tap Into Some Good cards were created to help people feel and do good! Their affirmation plus the act of kindness cards, so the goal is for you to read “The Feel Good of the Day” next, flip the card over, and now your reading “The Doing Good of the Day.” it’s about intaking good energy and passing it along.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’ve gone through many titles in my career, whether it’s been a Fashion Stylist, Personal Stylist, Blogger, Influencer, etc., I’ve learned through the journey of finding myself that it’s simple. I’m a creator. A specific title can’t define a creator; I’m a person that loves to write, capture imagery, create content, understand my audiences, produce content that people can learn it feel, and the list goes on and on! At this point in my life, I can now stand tall and own it. But growing into my creative energy wasn’t easy.
At 22, I leaped faith to move to New York and pursue a fashion career. It was hard to find my way and to create my path. But in the end, there’s nothing I would change. We have to understand that our experiences are what make us who we are! Given the challenges I faced, whether crying my eyes out because a Fashion company turned me down or constantly trying to work with a Celebrity stylist to keep getting a no, I couldn’t stop pushing. The day I left New York, I wouldn’t say I felt successful in a monetary form. However, I left feeling successful in understanding my purpose and the foundation that I wanted to build.
Today, I can smile so bright because I did it. I created a platform that inspires women to put their best foot forward. I made a platform that encourages people to feed themselves first. That allows them to see I am no different than they are and that if I’m out here pushing, so can they! The biggest lesson I learned along the way is that everyone has a divine story. That’s your blessing. No one can take away your account, and once you accept it, embrace it, and speak it about with confidence, you’ll always be searching for more. But once you live in your truth, your individuality will shine so bright. And that’s what life is about, being you! I want the world to know that Holt Consults Style is about a girl viewing the world with so much good despite its flaws. Tap into some good!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Ah, food makes my heart smile! Great question. Let’s talk all things, Baltimore! A day in Baltimore would look like starting your morning off at Dooby’s for their oh-so-yummy bacon and egg brioche and fantastic coffee! Next, we’ll go to head on over to the Inner Harbor because, of course, everyone has to see the Harbor! After the Harbor, one must see the amazing Federal Hill. It has a terrific view of Baltimore. Next, I would so recommend Charles Village. It’s a strip of just incredible boutiques, eatery, site seeing, and dope artsy kids. Next, head on over to Hampden. This is where the thrifters go! Another great strip filled with thrift stores and bomb restaurants. You have to makes a stop at Charana! They have beautiful. Indian-inspired jewelry, coffee mugs, and lots of trinkets! For lunch, I would head over to Jerk taco, BOMB jerk chicken tacos, lord! After that, head on over to Mount Vernon, such a cute historic area! Head on over to Maria Bisro for there super bomb half roasted chicekn, and then for a cute drink and good music stop by Sangria lounge!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Of course! I have to give a shoutout to my “Tap In Crew,” LOL. Honestly, when you’re putting yourself out there on social media, you don’t know how people perceive your platform. When I started sharing morning affirmations and random acts of kindness on my Instagram stories, little did I know I was creating a group of people that look forward to my messages. People would hit me up and say thank you for making their mornings better! I was in awe; however, it pushed me even more, to continue spreading my joy.
